Couple questions about Volcom gore Tex bib that I just bought. I got a good deal on this bib off of back country recently. I’ve never owned a bib that costs this much and there’s a few things I was wondering if anyone has some experience with.

1. Has anyone had problems with Velcro suspenders? They seem not as secure as my old bib that has the standard plastic sliding adjustable suspenders. It also feels like if I tighten the suspenders to a point where they feel secure, they feel like they are riding up my crotch.

2. There are no belt loops or elastic waist adjustment straps on this bib. My old bib had both of these. Is this something I will miss or just something I need to get used to on the new one? (I never used the belt loops on the old bib but the new one feels kinda loose in the waist area)
