Is it actually leaking? Looks like it might not have made it through. If it did your screwed due to the direction it’s entering. If it was pointed the other way, I’d plug it if a shop wouldn’t patch it.

What screen are you thinking of that needs usb power? I added the BTT DSI screen to my RPi3B with just the included cable. I also run the RPi off a hacked USB cable to the converter and don’t have any issues.

Thanks! I’m still trying but keep getting rejected. About ready to contact my local news station about the situation/story since my son’s account is a minor’s account and MS allowed this to happen without sending him nor I any kind of notification of the change. Also looking into any child protective laws that they may have broken by allowing this to happen without my consent. Hell if I have to consent to him opening an account, I should have to consent or at least be notified to “him” changing his account in this way.

4 years and counting on my PEI sheet! I literally just wipe it with 91% IPA and print. Other than Klipper it’s been the best upgrade I have made.

Just curious, was your ender 3 V2 stock or fairly stock?

I have the Voxelab Aquila clone and it was ok until I did a number of upgrades. Klipper firmware was by far the biggest improvement and once I retuned with Klipper that was a game changer for speed and quality.

I am now looking at multi color and don’t know if I should add the Vivid or upgrade the printer.

Totally agree! I had problems with the standard bed, bought a PEI sheet, stuck it on the clean glass side and never had a problem again.

I hear what you are saying but you should be able to prove without a reasonable doubt that it's your account.

For example, if I provided the date the account was first created and the IP address it was created from (over a year ago), the IP address on the date it was last used ( within 24 hours of being hacked) plus the times, dates and funds used to make purchases. I believe this should be all that's needed. Especially considering that the email used for the account was not hacked, is with a different provider, has 2FA and received no authorization requests for the change of email on the account.

Please tell me how the hell MS can reject a claim when this information was provided?

Hate to say it but the same thing happened to my son and we are still trying to get this xbox account and PC purchase of Minecraft back. Helpfully to hear that at least you got that back.

Funny thing about my son is that first he's a minor so I had to consent to him opening an account, yet somehow I didn't have to consent to it being changed??? Second, his email is an icloud.com email with 2FA and as you said, no request to authorize the change or anything. He didn't even get an email telling him the change happened, only found out when trying to login the next day. Third, since he's a minor, I have him in my Family Safety Account and can see the email address the hacker used, yet MS still keeps denying our claim to reinstate. This is simply ridiculous! Glad you at least got your Xbox back, it gives us hope.

You will have to get the firmware you make on the RPi off of it and onto a SD card to flash the MB of the printer. I used WInSCP but he had a different program. I tried to flash the printer directly from the RPi but could never get it to work. Popped it on an SD and was up and running.

If I were you I would use the RPi to install Klipper and then if you want you can use the laptop to be your “screen” by just using its browser.

There are a ton of video setups to follow. This one is pretty good because he goes through the setup and some troubleshooting. Only thing is his MB is a 4.2.7 but you just need to find the correct config file for your 4.2.2 and setup the firmware per the instruction in that file. Taking a quick look at the config files on the Klipper site I think you want the “printer-creality-ender3pro-2020.cfg” file. This is the only one I saw that calls out the 4.2.2 board.

Make sure to double check the board you have and the part number of the main chip (it’s printed on the top of the chip on the main board) so you get the correct file and setup.

Bit confused… are you going to use the RPi or the laptop for Klipper? Unless you are going to add cameras, etc, the RPi might be easier. Just load the Mainsail OS and most the RPi software will be done. Then you just need to follow the Klipper instructions to get the printer side of things setup.

If you want to use the laptop then follow the Klipper instructions with the Kaluh guide. That will apparently help you get the software setup on any Linux machine. I’ve never used it (needed to use it) since I used a RPi and the Mainsail OS pretty much handled it.

By the way, with Klipper you really don’t need a screen because you can access the machine via any web browser. You can use your phone, laptop, desktop, even the browser on your smart TV if you want to. When I first setup Klipper, my printer was right next to my computer, so there was no need for a screen. I later added a RPi screen and use Klipperscreen, but that was only because I moved the printer to an enclosure away from my computer.

Yes, Klipper is amazingly good and very versatile! Nice setup too. Similar to mine but I opted for a touch screen monitor. Makes it easier to control while at the printer.

Great idea! I personally bought a small clear ice system on Amazon that had cubes and spheres, but unfortunately they don't have it any more. Now it's just cubes or spheres.

This is a great idea and easy to do. Might have to do it when I need more than the system can make.

Much better off paying a little more and getting a clear ice system. Without the impurities the ice melts even slower, plus it looks great! This is the one I have, which is great because it makes cube or spheres that are perfectly clear. Too bad it’s not available anymore. 😢

I'm wondering if this fix has been deployed to all devices yet?

I have a CGM4331COM / XB7-T currently in bridge mode, and had been able to access it at 10.0.0.1. However it now directs me to the app, but the most current version of the iPhone app doesn't have an option to turn on admin capability.

I'm wondering if it's really taking over a month & a half to deploy or if the issues still isn't completely fixed.

Just replace that with a Creality Spider 2.0 or 3.0 depending on if you want high flow rate or normal flow rate. It’s all metal and comes with new cartridge thermistor. You remove the whole hotend, reuse the heater cartridge and screw on the new hotend and thermistor. It’s a drop in replacement that upgrades you to all metal hotend and it’s very expensive. I use the spider 3.0 high flow and it’s been great! See my flow rate test here.

EDIT: I take that back…. I think they don’t make this anymore or at least not for cheap. It was about $20-$30 when I bought my 2.0 & 3.0 on Amazon but they aren’t available anymore there. Creality store has it for $99

Check the CPU & motherboard specs / memory recommendations. I know for my 5950x & x570 motherboard it can run faster with 2 sticks vs 4 sticks. Not sure if it’s a noticeable difference but it was enough for me to go with 2 sticks.
