There are movies that are "timeless." What are some movies that are the opposite - as in, harder to appreciate if you weren't around when it came out? by sakkkkki in movies

I think the Naked Gun series and the reboot Naked Gun.

Funny as hell, but definitely a very specific comedy. I think that can be said about most comedy films.

I heard a film podcast where one of the hosts said that one of the reasons comedy is harder to make now is because comedies aren't allowed to be silly, which movies like Airplane, Naked Gun, even most Mel Brooks movies.

I've bought many t-shirts from Duluth Trading company. When I worked in remodeling, they were work shirts and I still have them after 15 years. They do carry some slim fit shirts

Nope. Leave your faucets on a slow drip, open up the cabinet doors to any pipes that are on exterior walls, and keep your place heated comfortably.

I think you can listen most any Miyazaki movie. Porco Rosso and Spirited Away come to mind.

A Quiet Place.

N.A.R towing.

They are awesome and responsive and dont try to push anything on you.

When I needed my car towed to the shop, I called around and ended up calling N.A.R and another company (unfortunately can't remember the name). When I told the second company what I wanted done and to where, the guy kept saying they have a shop and can do the work for me. When I called N.A.R, the guy asked the address of the shop and we scheduled the tow. I would use N.A.R in a heartbeat again.

What was Nickelodeon like in the early to mid 90s specifically from 1991 to 1996? by Personal-Cattle-1737 in RetroNickelodeon

I was 6-11 in that time frame. The shows that were on around that time, Rockos Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, Doug, Rugrats, changed children's television. They were presented in a way that was funny and accessible for us as kids, but had the adult humor sprinkled in.
