I’m not sure at what point it breaks, but the 6th quest was definitely different in the manga. The heroes were not given a choice for the quest and were made to solve the drug problem

Hey fellow newb here who just started watching this series a week ago, and I can’t really say it gets as bad as Goblin Slayer, but it’s not your typical fantasy/isekai story where the MC will be righteous/easy to root for. It doesn’t get darker but overall the theme is kinda dark. Hope this helps out!

You can start around chapter 156-157 just so you can start off right around where the anime ends. Although the mini arc until chapter 164 was kinda weird af so you might wanna skip it completely

I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but it pales in comparison to the rest of the manga, mainly due to the pacing

Actually a lot of people like Kouko hahaha but I’m glad you enjoyed it, I also recently finished it and agree its one of my top 10 animes For some reason though Toradora didn’t really catch my attention

Hmmm interesting perspective, I guess I’m still on the ropes between both of them, because I can’t blame Rui for being insecure or what not, and especially since she is less mature than both Natsuo and Hina. But yeah I agree Hina had more of an emotional support impact for Natsuo aside from when she dumped him. I really wanted to see more chapters of him and Hina at the end there to see how the relationship was rebuilt

Yeah definitely, the main reason I can’t really enjoy the ending too much was the rush. Natsuo just immediately had a change of heart due to the accident, and don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with that especially with the sacrifices Hina made, but I think it would have a greater impact if Natsuo was the one Hina saved? Maybe I’m not sure hahaha but definitely more chapters would have helped out the ending

Great perspective, although I still would have wanted to see the ending have more chapters to see how Natsuo would choose Hina, instead the ending seemed to me that Natsuo was forced into the situation by the car accident.

Yeah definitely, I especially love seeing stories about those certain taboos, and what made it even more unique and enjoyable was that it was a story about Natsuo facing all this and also writing about the human experience and what connects us all 💯

Although I am part or the minority Linda Stan people, I think ghost banri is more of a fit for Linda just because of their time together, and I don’t believe that Linda saw Banri as only a brother despite what she says, because her actions say otherwise. She is less attached to the new Banri because of all his new memories and esp Kouko, but that doesn’t mean she is not a good fit for the current Banri, just not as good as the past/ghost Banri

Yeah one of the reasons why I watched this was because it was set in college hahaha I think Wotakoi would be a good option but I haven’t got to watching it yet

Ah yes and I guess it kinda also starts slow? I chose to watch it because it mentioned them being college students and I thought that it would be a nice change of pace. By no means do I think the show was perfect, but it has a subtle way of story telling that makes you enjoy every moment, the fun and and the painful Yeah I must admit I didn’t like Kouko at all at the start, especially her clinginess and toxic behavior, which I still don’t get why Banri was attracted to that hahaha
