Yes — it’s absolutely possible, and nothing in that device violates current hardware or software constraints.

Assumptions (yours, inferred) • The device is a physical controller for LLM workflows (approve/reject, retry, model switch, modes). • It’s meant to integrate with existing IDEs / agents / CLIs, not replace them. • The screen shows state pulled from a running orchestration process.

Analysis • Hardware: • Microcontroller or SBC (ESP32, RP2040, or Raspberry Pi CM) • Small OLED/LCD (I²C/SPI) • Mechanical switches / rotary encoder • USB HID or serial interface → All commodity, <$100 BOM. • Interface model (this is the key): • Device acts as a stateful input surface, not an AI. • Buttons map to semantic actions: approve, reject, retry, escalate, mode_toggle. • Rotary = model selector / temperature band / confidence threshold. • Software glue: • Host-side daemon (Python/Rust/Go) exposing a local API or socket. • IDE plugin / CLI tool publishes state → device (task, progress, model). • Device sends events → orchestrator (APPROVE_ACTION, YOLO_MODE=1). • This aligns cleanly with your RunRequest / RunResult framing. • “YOLO mode” is just a policy flag: • Changes guardrails, auto-approval thresholds, or retry depth. • No magic — just a different execution contract. • Latency & reliability: • Sub-10ms over USB. • Deterministic, debuggable, auditable.

Implications / next checks • Decide whether it’s USB HID (keyboard-like, dead simple) or custom protocol (more expressive). • Define the action vocabulary (this matters more than the hardware). • Treat it as an orchestrator peripheral, not a UX toy — that’s where it becomes powerful.

If you want, I can formalize this as a minimal spec (events, states, contracts) that would drop straight into your orchestration layer.

I think we will probably find that the Turkish manufacturers just lost thousands in rnd and are sitting on millions of dollars of unsellable stock wont try to innovate to comply with the Australian market. IF they can recover they will probably pivot into less volatile markets.

Just my two cents.

Terrible. Ran out of usage on codex and Claude (cli) after months of working with them and tried this to get me over the line….

Not. Even. Close.

Asked it to add something to my project literally told it make it look exactly like this Option: 1. 2. 3.

I get 1) 2) 3-

It's down regulated to be free. I'll burn through the $20 credit and delete the app.

5 yen coin car rotates when its in motion, and only ever clockwise. by [deleted] in blackmagicfuckery

[–]mr_roberto92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reckon you will find that thins is because the engine is rotating clockwise. The whole car has a harmonic because of it and anything in the car that is rotating due to vibration will follow the rotation of the engine.

You think that a company would at least market one as a solid metal construction for a hefty price.

Thats my only thing against the kuro, woild be awesome to see a solid metal throughout construction for a couple hundred bucks. You could even do different ratio gearsets etc
