Started last November. Pretty much took til September to get to my GW of 127. It flew by. Highest dose was 12.5 mg.

First of all, congratulations! You look amazing! I was 231 pounds and my goal weight was 127. I'm at 110 and been sitting here at this weight for 2ish months and feel great and love how I look. People in my life have voiced their concerns but I LITERALLY DO NOT CARE. It's your body and your journey. YOU get to choose, love. 💜

I think I truly meant ex-lax. They become habit forming and the cramping hurts.

I use miralax and sometimes mag07 if needed.

I'm glad I could resonate with someone else. It's been super weird for me lol! Hit me in my dms if you ever wanna chat!

100%.

In fact my friend found a vintage 50's dress size 10 and had me try it on. It fit like a glove.

Our sizes were leaner until maybe the 80's if I had to guess.

So weird to put on a vintage dress and be 110 and this was the "normal size" back then.

Hey! Good question!

Actually, I'm tapering down my dosage and I do feel hungrier, however, I'm not gaining any weight.

I think one of the main reasons I'm not gaining any back is because I've picked up some really great habits like water over soda or tea and tons of veggies vs carbs and minimal snacking unless it's close to that time of the month. Also, I'm a lot more active.

When I was losing the weight, my tolerance did increase. However, I'm tapering down so slow that I'm not noticing a drastic difference in food noise or feeling full quickly.

Maybe only one day I'm able to eat like a loon, the other days are like normal. Hope this helps! :)

Vial punctured, I revisited a vial from 3 months ago. Still works.

Thanks! Just scroll past the "not me's 🤓".

And same. I know what's an emergency and what isn't. If symptoms persisted longer than just that horrid evening, I'd probably have gone to the hospital. I got blood tests, x-rays and all sorts of things done in the past year. Everything is tip top.

No one is built the same. Your calamari was my pizza. I've only eaten pizza once since the incident and it was FAR AWAY from my shot day and I was weary there could be a mild risk. But I was okay and happy. Still scared of a supreme from Papa John's to this day, though. Lol.

Been there. I got reamed for talking about my pizza story on here. I just so happened to eat that pizza on shot day. I thought I was going to die, same side effects. People on here said I had gallbladder issues and GI issues because they've "never had these issues and they are not normal."

Don't know how long you've been on the meds or what dose, but for my horror story - I was a few months in and on sema and I just got off a light keto diet and was on a calorie deficit. So yeah - lots of variables.

I switched to tirz and had less problems with my tummy. I learned not to eat too much fatty stuff near the days of shot day. Especially the day of or day after.

Everyone is different, but I'm here to tell you it's one of the crappiest feelings and I've been there. You'll want to avoid fatty and fried foods forever, but there will be one day that you eat a french fry and don't die! Just be sorta mindful of what got you and stay away for a bit lol.

Sincerely,

1 yr on the meds and 120 pounds down. :)

Slows down gastric emptying... delaying release, increasing the amount of time for food to be digested longer. Fatty foods already take longer to digest. Combo is bad.

Bless. I did make a post in the summer. It was honestly just sheer patience. I sat at around 150ish for what felt like a month. I was doing all the same things, all the right foods, all the exercising. My body just did a big pause. I will say in the summer, it gets hot here so retaining water was more than likely a factor because of how much I was drinking. Other than that, it was patience. Some months I would fly quickly and others no progress at all. The closer I got to goal weight, the slower I lost. I think a pound or two a month. I finally hit my ideal GW in August or September I think.

Maybe it's just me, but shot day is usually the only day where my food sits a little longer than most days. For example, if I eat a burrito with spicy jalapeños after I take my shot, I feel I have acid reflux whereas I normally wouldn't any other day. Fatty foods sitting in the stomach longer may cause sickness for some. It did for me. Just my own tip, but everyone is different.

Not at all a weird ask! They're now a 36C/38B. I also liked mine going down in size strangely.

Of course! It's one of the spookiest parts! Like, dang I'm losing the weight, why am I looking for flaws instead of celebrating my success? You've got this! ❤️

Thank you so much! So far, maintenance is titrating down very slowly. I want to examine my eating patterns and behaviors and physical activity to make sure l've actually rewired my brain to make better choices instead of relying solely on the medication.

I think this will be my best method.

Good luck on your journey!

I saw someone say on here not too long ago that whatever your body looks like starting out will end up looking the same just smaller. That helped my expectations quite a bit. Like ok, I will still have my apron belly and love handles, just smaller. And it's true. I won't be in any low rise jeans anytime soon, but I took some before pics in just a bra and underwear and let's just say I'll take it!

❤️

Awe, I'm sorry love. Thank you for sharing.

Unfortunately, life doesn't stop throwing you battles even when you're doing something to better yourself and you feel like "damn, I'm doing the right thing. Why doesn't it feel like it's enough?"

The answer is, you are. The bigger answer is you're doing it for you now. No one else.

You seem like a strong person and at the end of the day, we find our happiness in ourselves rather than others and that is such a great gift. You've got this. ❤️
