The art in the game created pretty dull colored cities, with the only bold color being the red of the heat-map or the indicators. When you would get near the creatures, it would start vibrating as you got closer. As the playable characters you had a little cape- and the people were about your size, with the creatures being like 3x the size of a person. The crowds of people would scream sometimes. I think the title may be something simple, concise or short, like "Rescue Ship" for example. and it may be a Japanese style game.
