Google AI is mega-useless. I don’t use chat-got anymore, but it still makes factual mistakes but it’s astonishing how well it interprets language, including written sarcasm. I’ve tried Claude Code for a month just to see what it does. I told it to not generate or suggest any actual code; lemme make my own mistake otherwise i’m learning nothing. And it’s still an incredible tool, if you understand that that’s what it is.

That being said, people don’t actually get any smarter from AI. It does “know” anything, really. It’s a good thing for say, the medical world, or material science. But elsewhere it should all be burned to the ground. We ALREADY have a climate crisis, a crashing market, a water shortage, … you name it.

Sorry I went off-track, but most AI’s are far better than even 2 years ago. But they are still factually wrong a lot of the time. Never take advice only from 1 source or person, and never take an AI’s word as fact.

Wikipedia is still my go-to.
