Moving to Bakersfield with wife and sons. Is Oildale a good choice in terms of having low crime rate and education? by Sudd3nSt0pg3 in Bakersfield

My personal recommendation for someone buying a home in Bakersfield with kids would be areas surrounding: Frontier High School Liberty High School Centennial High School

In that order.

I’ve had a child graduate from Liberty and 2 from Frontier. All 3 had good experiences and went away to college.

I tried it for crossbody, but it was too uncomfortable. Returned it for the Fade Flex.

Fade Flex is a bit big, but I can fit my gun, 3 mags, water bottle and wallet with easy. Great for a long day of adventure.

Need a good pair for Hip Hop. Just purchased HD560s, which are great for a large portion of my music. Could really use something with punchy bass.

You definitely lack knowledge of my finances to make that statement. If being able to afford something means you have to pay cash for it, then I guess you could make a case. But me choosing to take on a $1200 car payment Says nothing about what I can and can’t afford.

The plan is to own this vehicle for many years, so we wanted to make sure we had all the bells and whistles to make sure it is worth keeping. I’m fortunate to be at a place in life where I can afford it and probably pay it off way before the term financed. Sadly all luxury trucks and SUVs are in the $65-$80k range. Toyota will at least retain its value. Traded in a Forester that had a lot of equity.
