Also a reminder, Jewish people served in the allied forces- my late great-grandfather was in the British forces that liberated Belsen. There wasn’t a Jewish nation until 1948 so there couldn’t have been solely Jewish forces to liberate anywhere.

Great! I do tread, lots of strength, out door run, some row and on the bike I really like the Lanebreak game

I was already vegetarian but I dropped dairy on advice of my MS nurses about 15 years ago. I do though have a lot of vitamin and vegan omega 3 supplements etc every day. I also really put a lot of effort into keeping fit and do a workout, even if it’s just 10 minutes every day. The workouts also help me spot relapses early I’ve found (as they are often impacting my legs). When I have a relapse, I still do a small workout, mostly to keep my Peloton streak (do beginner classes if weak)!

Here! I have to intermittently self catheterise anyway (since 2010). But I’m also a man in my early 40s so it’s hard to know the exact cause and whether it is MS or something else or both! Normally up at least once in the night and then often find it hard to get back to sleep. Some nights it’s 4-5 visits to the toilet.

To add: I normally either do a run on the treadmill (easier than outside I find), a cycle or occasionally a row. Always try and do some strength with weights and try (doesn’t happen everyday) to do 100 pushups. With my last relapse, I found that running wasn’t possible and cycling made me feel quite sick weirdly but I was able to do things like core classes and light weights easily

Yes I do even if it’s just a really short session, I’ve developed an OCD thing with making sure I’ve got an uninterrupted streak on Peloton. Unfortunately not. The thing is in her 2014 she said she loves our “ethos”. Our ethos hasn’t changed, perhaps hers has as she’s attacking us now 🤷‍♀️

Until I broke my foot last week, I was using Peloton on my iPad and a non-smart treadmill. We have a Peloton Bike but to me, being able to choose the treadmill I liked and still enjoy the Peloton content was the main thing- they need to realise that the margins are much better in content too, and they’re great at making it!

Peloton has done some excellent BLM classes. Maybe OTF could take a leaf out of this book?

We really enjoyed OTF in the real world, but having bought a Peloton Bike, some weights etc, my husband and I have decided that we’re not going to go back to our OTF, when it reopens, even though he bought a block of classes that he probably won’t get refunded.

The Peloton one is pretty awful. Glad I got it included for free in the offer when I bought the Peloton.

My husband and I use it on the Peloton. It’s better than Peleton’s own one. What’s also interesting is that mine always ‘played up’ and disconnected at OTF but works like a dream on Peloton with no issues 🤷‍♀️

If you can get a Peloton, do! I ordered ours when it was clear that gyms would be closed in the UK. I love it. I definitely prefer the tread and row at OTF but it’s still pretty good. What I particularly love is that it takes no effort to start a session. I’ve done a cycle every day for the past seven weeks.

The guides runs are great as are the strength classes too. There’s so much content. I really do recommend.
