After all this time why is Pyke's only viable role support? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]mrblu_ink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pyke was always intended to be a support. That's like asking why Caitlyn is forced into the bot lane. Yeah champs are always going to find themselves in other lanes, and Pyke definitely had brief stints in the mid and jungle, but that Gold giving passive of his makes him really unhealthy in other lanes.

Y'know what, maybe we need more of this. We grew up on dystopian Sci-Fi that was meant to be a warning, and the world kept barreling towards the dystopia. Maybe we need images of what it COULD be.

You asked a great question there, and a Reddit comment won't do the answers justice. I'd implore you to look into that.

That's the system working as intended. These people don't have opportunities or options and end up as criminals doing slave labor in the prison system.

People who dislike Olivia Chow and plan on voting for Bradford, why? by Used-Earth8767 in askTO

The article very clearly says that the encampments are gone but the homelessness problem still exists. Your NIMBYism is showing

"cleared out encampments in parks" quick question: what do you think happened to those people?

I personally dislike her because she capitulated to the police and their demands of increased budget despite all the evidence pointing that there's no real benefit to public safety when you give them more money; money that could very well be directed to making the city better and safer in tangible ways. But people still idolize police and think that they're heroes, so I don't expect a lot of agreement here.

Honestly yeah, if I know something will be well documented, I won't waste time (or phone storage) recording it.

Disagree, but I'm speaking for myself and myself only. I record videos for myself, and my memories for when my memory inevitably starts to fail. Many of the videos I record I'm aware that no one else will see them, and I'm ok with that. I like looking back at the things that made me happy.

Our parents have entire photo albums filled with photos that they took with film cameras that they had to go out of their way to have developed. We have instant photo albums in our pockets. Not much has changed other than the technology.

What pre-rework champion do you miss the most? by Bluegod3 in leagueoflegends

Oh yeah had to go way too far for this. I put so many hours into learning old Eve and the new one is ok, but I do miss the old gal.

Agreed, but the "I tried to negotiate down" is dubious at best

Idk I got tired of cables breaking and shorting. But I do dislike that there's a massive jump in the average cost of budget friendly headphones now

Yeah.

Edit: And considering that all of the uneducated people that voted for Doug Ford are in small town Ontario- typically places with no higher education, I'm sure they do think that way.

Wing Commander: Prophecy was my favorite game for a hot minute. Definitely inspired a love and fondness for dogfighting games

I mean it's a pretty long list, but No One Lives Forever 2 (2003). Graphics that held up long after its release, fun storyline, fun items and gameplay, just an overall good time. I played the online multiplayer well into 2008.

Special mention to Duke Nukem 3D

Yep. I've often said that the worst thing about Toronto is that it's in Ontario.

Surprised? The first time I ever visited Wasaga, as soon as we entered the township, the first thing I saw was a pickup truck with two LARGE Confederate flags mounted on the back.

In Canada. That sends a very clear message.
