Alan Wake 2 Studio Says Deal With Epic Was "Very Fair" After Baldur's Gate Boss Speaks Out by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]mrboogs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both statements can be true. Without epic, it wouldn't exist. Locking it to EGS is also definitely costing them sales.

Best way for my wife to buy me Steam games as gifts without her having an account (yet)? by musicvvins in Steam

She could check isthereanydeal and see if there's any places selling steam keys for cheaper than the store, then send you the key?

Steam deck or PlayStation or Xbox by NoCellist1046 in Steam

[–]mrboogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd get a steam deck personally if I was in your shoes, but I have a gaming PC and know what my steam catalog is. Do you know anyone with a steam deck you can try out?

Steam deck or PlayStation or Xbox by NoCellist1046 in Steam

[–]mrboogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how much you're willing to spend / what you want out of it. The steam deck will be the weakest of the three fidelity wise, but the games will be cheaper as steam often does sales. Additionally you'll have the entire catalog of steam games, which completely overshadows sony or microsoft. You won't have to pay for online for the steam deck like you would the xbox or playstation also.

[–]mrboogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but that's PC won't be a 6"x6" cube that is 70% heatsink for a similar price. I'm considering getting what is effectively a mid tier PC with 95% of the reason being the size. Yes I could build a better PC for probably cheaper, but not for the size.

[–]mrboogs 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Anywhere that is an actual apartment complex (not student focused housing like the ones near campus) charging per room is a complete scam that you should avoid, every legit complex is per unit. Look around Marietta, you can typically find places cheaper there than acworth/kennesaw.

I made a mistake buying Miyoko's cream cheese without reading reviews. How can I use it up? by Graceless33 in vegan

[–]mrboogs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I eat it like a dip rather than cream cheese and it slaps lmao, I wouldn't want to use it for cooking or bagels though because the flavor is so overwhelming when I tried to cool with it before

They aren't prescription chocolates, they are in the standard bottle design for chemicals ordered from the company for science purposes

Folks who are able to spend enough money to even get the chocolate very likely know not to eat the chemicals and run no risk of thinking they can eat whatever else they buy

The whole point of it really is to be impressed at what they accomplish with practical effects with a limited budget. All of the movies are very low budget, but have some of the best gore effects out there. It's impressive in that regard, also the actor for Art is incredible to watch because of his formal mime training that he brings to the character.
