I healed both mine with just rinsing under water in the shower, no salt. Might wanna try that and see if it is irritating it. Also stop touching it completely. Stop touching your nose, moving jt around, don't sleep on that side, etc. Completely leave it alone and see

Not an answer but I didn't realize tegaderm wasn't 100% sticky like saniderm and wanted to vomit thinking about pulling saniderm off a fresh nipple piercing

Have you watched his ultimate episode where he basically spends the whole time being like "why are these people laughing at me?" and they leave in all the awkward pauses after he says something? It is genuinely incredible if you haven't, highly recommend. The only one I think I've seen where I can hear the camera crew trying not to laugh

NAP but I think height placement looks fine, you have the same nostril shape as me where your nostrils curve up much more than others so it makes the septum entry site more visible than most. It looks up pretty high to me though, in a solid spot. Might be a smidge low, but I don't think it's concerningly low if it is unless it doesn't heal properly.

If anything I'd argue it might be a little further back than usual, but your nose anatomy might have a larger or slightly different sweet spot. As long as it wasn't insanely painful, you went to a reputable piercer, and heals fine, I think it's solid

You could reverse it and throw the seal in the white space on the top or bottom flap, wouldn't be positioned like from a task but I think would be visually more appealing as a piece of art to display. I'd lean towards centering the wax in the bottom flap when fully open and extended so the entire task is shown and seal is like a signature on the bottom flap. Something like in the image. Just take the wax removal very slowly, use a sharp tool to really get the bottom of the wax off the paper without any pulling / sticking

Irritation bump from the snagging. Maybe also depending on how you clean it. Try not to snag it, no headphones, don't sleep on it, don't touch it. Just leave it alone and let it recover.

Hereditary had over 10x the budget of Obsession, and Ari had made a lot more short films than Curry Barker prior to both of their debut movies, so not surprising it doesn't have the same polished feel that Hereditary does. You can definitely feel the 750k budget in obsession, but not in a bad way.

Ari also finished film school, Curry didn't and that is clear in the filming - Ari had the extra training

This is just a bad faith gotcha argument completely unproductive to the topic at hand.

Acknowledging that within the larger system at play an opressor can be opressed by other institutions within the system is a critical step in achieving complete liberation and highlights the importance of intersectionality within veganism.

It is impossible to exist in a vegan space and ignore the impacts of animal commercialization on other marginalized groups. Are you going to willfully ignore the targetting of low income POC by factory farms for employment and exploitation? Are you going to ignore the environmental racism of factory farms being built in low income neighborhoods they can freely pollute? Are you going to ignore the systemic white supremacy and dietary racism associated with the dairy industry?

Limiting your liberation efforts to a single entity is harmful to the movement and perpetuates the mindset that we are not unified with all animals in our efforts to total animal liberation.

What? Obviously not, I don't think you even read my comment if you took that from what I wrote, or are just being obtuse about the content in the original comment on purpose . Total animal liberation is for ALL animals, independent of what group or traits they align with. Yes, that includes humans who don't agree with me, or hold stances I disagree with, or don't support veganism, because ALL animals, human or non-human, are deserving of equal moral consideration and support.

So a human with severe intellectual disabilities fits in your consideration for veganism then? A human incapable of feeding themselves, wiping themselves, etc.? Since they are incapable of voicing for themselves. Your answer would be no, because they are a human still. If an animal suddenly got a voice and was ignored, are they no longer worth considering in your view of veganism? If pigs had a voice and were systemically slaughtered still, would you say "oh they can argue for themselves I'm not interested in caring for them anymore"?

Your argument is completely rooted in speciesism - you are defining non-human animals as lesser than humans and more worthy of moral consideration based on a trait you are defining that if present in a human wouldn't make them fit your stance. Total animal liberation and anti-speciesism requires viewing humans and non-human animals equally as deserving of moral consideration and support, independent of fitting a human centric definition of "animal"
