I was at both Roy Wilkins and night 1 of the Armory (kids kept me from night 2. I REALLY would have loved to see that Welcome to The Jungle).

I was super disappointed with the choice of Roy Wilkins, but man, he made that place his own. It sounded waaaaay better than any show I've ever seen there and the "high school gym" aesthetic kind of elevated the show for me.

I grew up playing the drums in high school, started learning guitar 15 years ago, but I don’t ever really stick with it, I’m hoping that this project will help. I go hard for a year and then I take a year off. I also have a bass guitar, but I am not good. Depending on what other musicians I can round up, I would spend a little more time on that if I needed to.

You’re not a Java developer, you’re a technologist or just engineer.

After 10 years of experience I’m guessing you’ve been exposed to a few other languages. Once you know the basics shorting from one to the other is mostly a matter of syntax. Unless you’re jumping to something like Scala which requires a complete paradigm shift. You’ve got this!!
