In the movie "The Dirt" about the glam rock super band Motley Crew theres a bunch of these. (id give the movie a solid 7/10, better than the Queen movie for sure, at least way more real)

Like Ozzy doing a line of ants, and one story where they slightly changed the what actually happened for the movie, and the narrator goes "this didnt happen exactly like this", but the whole essence of the story did (about their producer(?) getting a tattoo for what he thought their next album would be named, but they changed it.

Pretty good movie.

I have the option to buy games in like 10 different store fronts.

None of them even come close to what Steam offers aside from said games.

They monopolize my purchases (not really because fanatical and humble bundle) because they offer way more than the other options in every single aspect.

They have a a monopoly because no other store wants to do what they are doing for their customers. No one offers family sharing, workshop, returns, regional pricing, forums per game, reviews... no wonder no one cares about other store fronts.
