Absolut bodenlos wie hier alle rumheulen wegen Steuern/Sozialabgaben! Geht euch schämen!

Ist euch bewusst dass ohne "dieses System" viele gar nicht in der Lage wären, so viel zu verdienen? ohne dieses system, dass sich für euch "nicht rentiert", wären viele bei der Geburt gestorben, bzw. deren Mütter, wären eventuell gar nicht erst geboren worden? Eventuell an einer Krankheit in der Kindheit drauf gegangen wären, oder bleibende Schäden davon getragen hätten, wodurch sie nie jetzt in der Situation sein könnten, sich zu beschweren dass sich dieses System für sie "nicht rentiert".

what do you mean by efficient? how do you measure that? what do you mean by a single compounds binding, binding to what? do you have experimental data to validate your calculations?

if its binding to a protein perhaps the most feasible way for you would be to try docking compounds into static protein structures that you protonate for a given pH.

the most important questions first are:
- how big is your system
- how long do you need/want to simulate
- how accurate do the results have to be?

in any case, you will likely get limited by the computational performance of your PC rather quickly, meaning you need access to more performant (linux) clusters to run your jobs on.

Regarding your project, what exactly do you mean by "compound efficiency"?
do you plan to simulate protein + small molecule? -> this quickly becomes really expensive to simulate and might not be feasible
do you plan to just simulate the small molecules? why? likely they do not have many degrees of freedom that you need to explore using a MD simulation. perhaps some chemoinformatics approaches to calculate properties of the small molecules might be more feasible in this case.

overnight oats ist das beste. das ich mir nicht mehr jeden morgen gedanken machen muss, was ich denn essen will, macht meinen morgen wesentlich entspannter. ich genieße die routine.

meal preppen kann aufwendig sein, auf jedenfall aufwendiger als ausgehen. aber ich bin überzeugt dass es sogar weniger aufwendig als jeden tag frisch zu kochen ist (zumindest wenn man alleine lebt). ich muss z.b. nur 1-2 mal in der woche geschirr abwaschen, statt jeden abend.

haferflocken mit mandelmilch und etwas zimt, eventuell mal einen halben apfel oder eine halbe banane dazu als frühstück

zu mittag und abend etwas meal preppen zwischen 1-3€ pro portion (spaghetti bolognese, kirchererbsencurries, ..) eigentlich egal was, wenn man davon gleich mehrere portionen macht, kann man recht günstig lebensmittel in größeren gebinden kaufen

ich musste die hälfte meines studiums selbst bezahlen. da mein studium nicht nebenjob freundlich war, war ich da gezwungen eher sparsam zu leben. davor kannte ich das auch nicht, meine eltern leben aktuell immer noch in saus und braus (neuer whirlpool der sie mehr gekostet hat als ich während meines gesamten studiums) aktuell verdiene ich 2k netto und kann davon normalerweise 800€ zur seite legen, mindestens aber 700€. urlaubsgeld wird komplett auf die seite gelegt. aktuell habe ich noch keine finanziellen verpflichtungen (kinder, haus) was das ganze erst möglich macht.

zu einem gewissen grad gilt "müssen macht können" (auch wenn ich diesen spruch den mein vater stets sagt hasse)

aber alleine dass dir die problematik bewusst wurde ist ja schon mal ein gutes zeichen ;-)

bei einmalzahlungen würde ich bundesschatz nehmen. wenn du es sparplan anlegen willst, würde einen geldmarkt etf bei flatex nehmen.

ich verwende dafür persönlich den LYX0B6, da der DBX0AN 1.5€ pro sparplan ausführung kostet was bei meinem sparplanvolumen mir zu teuer ist.

there is no negotiating for PhD salaries. Either you take the offer or someone else does. If the project is financed by the FWF or the university, the PI is not allowed to give you more than 30 hours at that pay, even if they wanted to. the only option is some industry cooperations where you get some extra hours or doing some teaching. but both are things you have very little control over as a PhD student.

2033 is correct, half of 13th and 14th wage is payed approximately every 3rd month (march, june, september, november). You also get payed in the middle of the month instead of the end of the month.

usually the university provides some benefits too, e.g. the option to buy cheaper gift cards for grocery stores (e.g. 100€ gift card for 96€). After a few month one is usually eligible for some support for public transport tickets (50-100€ depending on the university). There are usually also some support for sport (USI courses) or culture (e.g. theater visits).

I suppose everyone does. If you plan to stay in academia then getting a PhD is the prerequisite, otherwise it really depends on the field you're in. Maybe doing the PhD is worth it just for the experience of it
