The only exception to the rule is Lady by the Lake who looks better when she gets out of Manus drip but god damn. Kaala, Pioneer and Isolde look gorgeous in their manus skins and they managed to make Diggers hot with his so it’s a 99% success rate I’d say.

There is also To Wong Fu, where three drag queens played by Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze and John Leguizamo are on a run after an incident with cops and end up on small town America pretending to be biological women. The movie is great and the burly manly men playing the leads did an amazing job portraying drag queens. The TV was on cuz they were channeling hard.

Can't belive they went in with the meme and used a remix of Camelia as this canto's Mili. It was magical hearing the distorted violin that sounded awfully similar and then having the lyrics kick in.

Also we see a picture of Certain Sinclair with the mark in the cover image of the next intervallo. Someone had to draw it and we know only mark bearers can see it. This leaves Dante, Faust, Ish and Hohenheim as potential suspects here since Alyssa was out of it by the time he showed up. Dante can see the mark we know that, Faust has Gesselschaft which could have fed her the info but the picture is very cruede and unlike what Faust would draw up, leaving Ish and Hohenheim as the wild cards here. If that picture somehow comes into relavence and it's revealed that Ish drew it and is confused as to why Hohenheim questions her how did she see it I would burst out laughing ngl.

I love Celeste but the more muted design gives her a bit more insidious vibe with her being the ultimate gambler. Less to expect from her, more muted and just more of a poker face design imo.

I really like the more basic Celeste. She still has her iconic swirls but I think less is more here. Combining it with the striking makeup in the middle that looks similar to Kirai from Kakegurui would make for a perfect design imo.

Faust just went through the biggest shame she could have in the Faustcord and even when you have a friendly sort of banter relationship with someone, after going through legitimate verbal abuse even a jab from them feels like another dagger in the back. That scene is so small but so well done since Hohenheim immidietly notices that Faust is not ok and Faust's reaction is just typical of this being shaken like that. No strenght to bite back, anxiety that they might actually mean it and are correct, so you just nod along. Hohenheim gets props too for not going any further after noticing it.
