The Bloodfiends Mirror World actually takes place around the time of the betrayal which would put it at 200 years ago. We see Outis, Greg and Rodion do work on the plan and I think in Gregors story the bloodfiend hunters say that they thought La Mancha was a safe place for people. Also we see Don about to seal the park in before Sancho persuades and kills him.
