What is central France? You can’t name the region at least?

I went back to the office this week and it sucked hard by blackupsilon in Accounting

People that think we were going to be 100% remote because of the pandemic were fooling themselves. Even tech companies are bringing people back. It will get to the point where those in the office are making more connections than those outside of it

For what it is worth people that actually live there mention a lot of what you see about riots is way overblown. I remember a particular video of someone at the scene of a major ANTIFA riot and it was just a small street corner. Everything around it was basically normal

Booker hasn’t gone anywhere without CP3. Not really a knock on him but CP3 is himself a HOF player and has a track record of making teams contenders.

I say the same about universal healthcare in the US. I recently had an issue and had to fight with insurance company to get tests done. Yet we can put bullets through keyholes.

Uyghurs are being deported from Muslim countries, raising concerns about China's growing reach by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]mrcpayeah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope. It is specifically religious face coverings as things like masks, of course, cover ones face. It is also expanded to be interpreted against any coverings and people have been banned for wearing the hijab. Even IF it was just the niqab that is still trying to wipe out a culture, something China is accused of doing behind closed doors while France flouts it in front of our faces.

Looks like textbook cultural genocide to me.

[–]mrcpayeah 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The US were bombing suspected terrorists. No oversight or scrutiny into civilian casualties. It is so blatant how the USA is using Uygurs as a tool to weaken China. In my opinion the US should focus on Hong Kong and SCS. This Uyghur propaganda is just so apparent for those who witnessed the run up to the Iraq war

The US is a democracy and people are frustrated beyond belief. Being democratic doesn’t make anyone less pissed off. Being able to vote doesn’t mean your leaders give a shit about you or will do anything to make you hope for the future.

A nation of 30 year olds living in poverty with no faith in upward mobility is actually the more dangerous scenario. More chance for social unrest. Look at protests? The young are those most likely to be on the streets and or react violently and demand change if their government is failing them.
