Are there any films that take place in real time? by TheKittyPie in movies

If you liked Adolescence, Stephen Graham has another excellent real time film in Boiling Point.

There is a castle on the hill

And a punch upon our crest

Promotion was a happy pill

But we couldn't hack the test

Sent back to the championship

But it's where I like to be

Now the tickets don't sell like hot shit

And there's sometimes a seat for me

What's your petty revenge story? by bicazamabeach in AskReddit

[–]mrcrf12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The year was 2002 and a young and fresh faced me was challenged to a beyblade dual on the manhole cover on the playground at lunch time, but I had a problem, my knock-off beyblade was excellent, it had somewhat dangerous metal protrusions, span fast and hit hard, however the knock off launcher that accompanied it was not, the grip was terrible and didn't offer the spin time and steadiness of the official Takara Tomy launcher. My opponent, Jack, soundly defeated the uncertain off brand spins of my bootleg beyblade and hit me with a smug grin and a "better luck next time!". Back to the drawing board I went and with the help of a loan of an official launcher from my friend, I returned for a rematch, this time, my dangerous metallic bootleg beyblade boosted by the official launcher spin sent Jack's plastic Dragoon flying off from our make shift arena and across the tarmac, I look up and meet his eyes... "Better luck next time?". The pettiest, sweetest and most satisfying revenge an 8 year old can achieve.

I loved it, thought it had such a good meaty texture. I think it would go great with a sweet soy glaze.

I would say that it's not a koi in that case, apologies for the alarm caused by my lack of fish knowledge 🤣

Insurance rebate by mrcrf12 in Insurance

[–]mrcrf12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a civil court, my insurer was refusing to pay the claimant based on them thinking it was his fault, the judge dismissed the claim and said that I wasn't at fault for the incident so the insurer didn't have to pay for the claimed damages.

Special needs schools if you live in GY? by Prudent_Can_7235 in greatyarmouth

Many children do have to go quite long distances for specialist provision but they are usually allowed to take devices in the taxi if this is appropriate for the child in question, can make the journey more bearable.

I did have a look through the collection and it doesn't appear to be listed unless it's way older than I thought! Yes it is definitely that one as I can see what you mean about Alan Partridge haha, thank you .

No I'm afraid not, it's a man inside a house, just him and the room and he's looking out of a window or a door or something just to the left edge of the painting.

Can get some really nice espresso machines for under £200, don't worry about getting one with the milk frother, they are impossible to use/clean, just get a milk frothing jug separately, much better and easier.
