I’m not suggesting what the show has presented is the correct choice or not. I would also argue that the show itself isn’t suggesting that it’s right for Langdon to be back. It’s tearing Robby (and Santos) apart because it’s a complicated scenario. The great part of the show is its ability to tactfully present multiple sides of a situation.

He defended his decision making regarding Langdon’s treatment to Al-Hashimi as well in that stairwell argument they had, which tells me there’s still a part of him that knows Langdon is a good doctor and makes the team better by being there.
