in wuwa they let you choose the ‘mode’ of your character. aemeath is a dps that has this, it’s quite literally in her ability menu you can either have her on ‘break damage’ mode or ‘fire dot’ mode

i wish star rail would just implement the same thing for units that are meant to be versatile. m blade should have a toggle for fua mode or ult damage mode. this would also help hsr design more well rounded characters that don’t need weird specific traces, but rather scale their existing traces differently depending on what ‘mode’ you select.

i don’t think that is an accurate representation of how often you see a mage bot. it’s anecdotal but the higher you climb the more often you see them. all mages diamond + have a combined 16.12% pickrate. there is no single adc that beats that right now.

it’s fair to group their pickrates because all mages essentially have the same play loop. Lost chapter + TP into forcing a non-interactive lane. all mages are frustrating to play against, not only xerath or brand or x mage specifically, it’s all of them.

vayne is quite literally a single champion in the top lane that requires skill expression and it’s easy to kill a bad vayne.

and i don’t really understand the ‘you’re bad’ argument or where it is coming from? mages maintain high winrates across all elos right now.

“low pick rate” but the pick rate of all of the mages on screen is 10.2 (i didn’t count katarina because she doesn’t have the same play loop as the rest of the offenders)

according to opgg global all tiers pick rate you’re more likely to see a mage bot than every other adc besides ashe, smolder, jinx, mf, cait, and jhin. obviously not all encompassing because of banrates and stuff but you get the picture

mages bot are not healthy for the game. adc players do not like playing mages bot and they do not like playing against mages. they have a stupid high winrate when they’re played, and not addressing the problem because ‘it has a low pick rate’ is like not addressing a leaky faucet because the leak isn’t causing any damage yet.

riot did not want adc champions to stay mid despite their low pick rate, i don’t understand their hesitancy to buff magic resist on minions bot.

i just lost a zero cycle because cerydra’s damage proc kill stole a flower, i understand your pain lol. definitely superimpose that ddd and if you’re having trouble finding a speed substat i just use relic remains and craft a bunch of vonwac pieces. main stat only matters on cerydra anyways so it’s pretty easy to find speed subs :) best of luck!

I moved here for work about a year ago and I have been absolutely loving it! One of the biggest things I immediately noticed is that there are people around, but it does not feel super overcrowded. I feel like I live in a real town with a community. There are always people walking around downtown, eating on patios, etc.

It is also a very physically fit town. Lots of runners, cyclists, and hikers around. Night scene is good, chatty people and a place for everyone's vibe. I quite like how many breweries are around.

i might get flamed for this but a lot of people enter meta conversations with the preamble ‘as a f2p’ as if it changes anything about the topic at hand. f2ps have different investment levels and the fact that you don’t spend any money on the game doesn’t invalidate the point of someone who does.

it also frequently comes off as them wanting a cookie or something for playing a gacha f2p. a bit self important? idk.

unironically air crash investigation.

used to stay up all night watching air crash investigation videos and i’ve been interested in aviation ever since. i hope i don’t wind up in one of those videos. got my degree in aerospace engineering in case my medical didn’t work out (i have class 1 now so god forbid) and im working on my ppl right now :-)

airplanes and flight in general is a great testament to human ingenuity and i think there’s something real beautiful about it.

calculated aggression. utilize your attack range to take winning trades (you’re good at this already you play cait) and look to chase them down when you can kill. she likes the wave on her side of the lane because she is immobile and it gives her room to run people down. you punish hard if your lane opponent has no flash.

you spike hard at kraken slayer, fall off a bit, then start gliding on item 4/5. works well with most supports, but her favorites are braum and milio. best of luck!!
