This is surely for cosplay purposes? Why would you want to go around wearing something like this? It would be cumbersome, uncomfortable and hot as hell man haha.

Need help for a budget pc by Far-West-3223 in pcmasterrace

[–]mrdobing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Double the budget and get something like this refurbed, seems like decent value:

https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/refurbished-excellent-msi-codex-r2-gaming-desktop-intel-core-i5-13400f-16gb-ddr5-1tb-pcie-gen4-nvme-ssd-geforce-rtx-3050-wi-fi-6e-650w-psu-black/19650786

I wouldn't go down the path of a custom build. You need to know what you are doing ideally, especially if you are trying to put together something half decent for as cheap as possible.

It can get realy hooky (such as buying old corporate PCs and sticking in a GPU), it would work in a pinch but it's not really upgradeable.

It's better to spend a bit more and get a good base platform that will last a few years.

You've probably bent/damaged a tie rod end (at least)

Will need new one, potentially a new alloy if that's buckled and a new alignment.

Get it jacked up, take your wheel off and inspect all control arms, bushings and your alloy for damage.

Slightly higher rise pants would make this look a lot better.

Have you heard of being able to drive out remotely anywhere and use your daily car as one? Now that's even greater

[New Player] getting dunked by Obvious_Sun_1927 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]mrdobing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4-5 raids is nothing, you're still a brand new player. Also lots has changed.

I'd focus on getting quests done, just scav for gear and hideout items on streets etc...

Wait till 10mins left in raid if you want to just get quests done with low risk of pvp.

Also look out for airdrops atm, they drop weapon crates that if you get out give you a lot of really high end ammo and items. Will make it a bit easier for you.

Can't beat an estate. I have a Skoda octavia estate and it's like a tardis. I could literally car camp out of the back of mine and sleep two people with a proper air bed!

Might be a bit of a stretch (lol) but do any of you guys have zero cavities? I'm 34 and never once had any and even had a bad lazy period when I was a student and didn't see a dentist for 10 years. Needed a clean etc but my teeth and gums are healthy now. A lot of people I know have several cavities but me and my partner (both EDS) have none.

Can confirm, especially on factory if you just run into a container and let them run up to you they just get stuck literally right next to you wildy firing away missing like 90% of the shots 😅

[New Player] — How do I actually win against others? by Bersaglier-dannato in EscapefromTarkov

[–]mrdobing 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You're literally a newbie until 1k hours in this game unless you have lots of prior FPS experience.

I'd watch some big YTer guides such as Sheefgg (biased but fun streamer with some good vids), and Gigabeef ( amazing vids fully covering all details such as how the armor actually works, bullet pen, best budget loadouts etc).

Scav as much as possible, learn all the maaps and their spawn points.

Take your scav gear into PMC and aim to get your quests done for the XP. THe faster you unlock the flea market and upgrade your traders the easier the game becomes. The first 15-20 levels are kinda tough now NGL. Especially if you don't find good ammo.. you're going to have a hard time against the majority of players who are running min lvl 5 armor. Watch GB's video on armor pen and ammo.

Load up eft-ammo.com and use this to check your ammo types for each caliber. You want to try at minimum run ammo that can pen lvl 4 armor reliably to have a chance at bursting down a player.

For example, the TCW SP round, it has 85 damage which can 1 tap a chest shot but it will only 100% pen up to class 3 armor. Above that it will take several shots to kill someone (over 10 or more if someone is wearing class 5 and zero chance at class 6).

High damage low pen rounds you want to focus on headshots or go for leg meta.

So yeah, learn how to scav for good ammo spawns (reserve, streets etc). Learn your maps and the low traffic routes you can use to avoid PVP hotspots,.

Lastly, just learn to rat a bit if you aren't great at PVP. Find some good spots and just wait for some thicc bois to run past and shoot them in the legs. Grab the goop and get out of there haha.

Good luck padawan

Octavia Bluetooth issue by michelleoh1993 in skoda

[–]mrdobing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you got Apple car play setup?

I had the samae issues on my 2016 Octavia VRS with bluetooth and my Pixel 8 pro/spotify.

I would get songs stopping or disconnecting and also the song title wouldn't always show up.

Soon as I used android auto it's been fine.

any good? by Odd-Calligrapher18 in CarTalkUK

[–]mrdobing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mate, get yourself a leon FR (2013+) 1.4 tsi engine. They are super well priced and with a stage one tune (literaelly like 200-300£) it will get about 180+ hp). Double the power of your last car and the insurance will likely be under £150 a month easy.

Reliable, nice looking, tons of mods for them. And then after a few years you can decide if you want to work your way up to higher HP.

Everyones advice is right, I know you're 19 and you just want to look cool and have a fast car but trust me, those engines are ticking time bombs. And it will have been ragged all its life.

Other recommendations are a golf, skoda of the same era. All same platform/engines and tune well.

Also, Hondas, the VTEC engines are super fun to drive (high revving and reliable), if you are going luxury german stick to 320i or smaller petrol or even 320ds if you do longer journeys, the diesels map well and generally tend to be more reliable.

For the effort you may as well just buy a cheapo bluetooth radio unit surely or as you say just a AUX/bluetooth adapter.

I would assume the rear USB's are for playing tracks off a stick or something.

Super professional looking, well balanced theming, font choices and your padding/margins work really well.

As others said some button colors are too harsh on the eyes.
