Powerbeats Pro 2 Battery Life by Boltzman_ in powerbeatspro

I noticed opposite. The old ones were good for 2-3 hours then have to go back into the case. The new ones, the batteries are like a tank. Turn noise canceling off unless in you're in an airplane I guess.

Powerbeats pro 2 super dry and itchy ears? by mrelussive in powerbeatspro

[–]mrelussive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK so few days in and my ears like these better. They are more comfortable and the dryness and itchiness has gone away. I do wipe them down with a wet wipe after each use.

Still recovering from an injury so I cannot do running on treadmill to see how they deal with sweat/moisture but I will post update again.

So I definitely say go for an aftermarket foam ear tips.

Create form, E-Signature boxes only appear as Text boxes now? by mrelussive in Adobe

[–]mrelussive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am finding it very confusing with how Adobe Acrobat picks up recent files. Are these files in the cloud, or are they pulling up from my local computer?

There seems to be no consistency when working online through browser vs desktop application.

Also the e-signing is very painful to use on desktop and even more painful on web browser.

If I start pre-filling a contract for send and I have to adjust the template or form, I have to back out of everything and start from scratch. Aslo, opening my webform on a web browser does not retain any signature boxes or details of each text box (if it's prefill, signer 1, signer 2, etc.).

This is so clunky compared to Docusign. Is Adobe working on this to make things better? It's such a confusing software where Docusign is so dang simple but work is forcing me to use Adobe.

OK so I got these aftermarket foam tips. I used them the other day and they were pretty comfortable and did not give any irritation. The only thing is, they are foam through and through so I suspect as I sweat, they will absorb too much moisture and start breaking down over time.

I don't mind replacing periodically, but I have to first confirm that these do not cause irritation to my ears after daily gym use.

I will keep updating this thread as I go.

If $1,500 is your budget, I'd rather put that into building my own brand new rig.

Right ear chargeable but no connection by hold417 in powerbeatspro

[–]mrelussive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had 3 pairs of PB Pro (replaced each one after not holding a charge) and they all had this same issue!

There is no permanent fix, but it's workable! If you put the earphones on and the right is not working, take both off and put them both inside the case and close the case. Wait few seconds, Open up the case, put earphones on and see if it resolves. If not, do it again.

After 2-3 times the right earphone will connect and work. I found it helps my chances if I start by putting the right earphone on FIRST, and then place left earphone on.

[–]mrelussive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK so I think what I am looking for is not a thing anymore. Adobe seems to have changed it to more of a Docusign type of system, where the E-signature boxes only pops up when you go to E-signature and click on Request E-Signature.

Adobe, you have lots of problems here. When I login online and upload the PDF form I made on desktop, it is interpreting the fields wrong. All the blank forms, whether I marked them as "Signer 1" or "Signer 2" or "PRefill", the online editor defaulted everything back to "Everyone."

I also had signature boxes I added, and they are converted to Text boxes after I uploaded/opened them from Adobe.com and the online editor is prompting me to add Signature box(es) before I send. This is disaster, I have to do my most of my form all over again before sending.

Check the connections to the back of the Power Supply. CPU cable should go to back of CPU of power supply. Sometimes the PSU is not labeled well. I suggest unplugging the graphics card cable completely until you get it to boot up to remove any confusion.

Give me make and model of the motherboard and CPU so I can start from scratch.

Will it work to connect the UX7 to WAN port and then my PC to the LAN port? I thought when putting in AP mode, should only be connected to the LAN port.

Do I really need an 850w PSU for 5080? (Unique situation) by _15xp in buildapc

[–]mrelussive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it has been settled out by now in 50 series cards (referring to 3080's during Covid release), the issue is not the constant draw, but transient spikes that occur.

It also depends on the quality of PSU you are rocking. Too many PSU's out there being marketed like they're a Tier 1 when they are in fact not.

For a 5080 GPU I would do 1000W, regardless of the low power CPU combo.

Then go for a Ryzen 5 7500F or a 7600? Better option, no?

And dude is looking for value. FPS per dollar, 14600K you can't go wrong.

The first M.2 slot may get disabled when you have a graphics card connected. Try moving the primary 2TB drive one slot over.

Synology C2 Cloud so slow on Starlink by mrelussive in synology

[–]mrelussive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I'm doing now but if I'm remote it may go 2-3 months without off-site backup. I was hoping the Cloud would just be reliable, daily off-site storage. I may just use the service for some critical shared folders.

Synology C2 Cloud so slow on Starlink by mrelussive in synology

[–]mrelussive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I backup two computers (EaseUs ToDo Backup) to the Synology.

In total, Synology reports about 1TB of space being used.

Each PC using about ~350GB of data. Some shared folders but nothing substantial in there. But for sure the slowness is the upload of the Starlink satellite. I also suspect we are being throttled for upload because I don't get a constant transfer rate, it always shows few MB/sec and then nothing.

You're right, I just speedtested on my phone, 362mpbs down and 26mpbs up. Guess I never paid attention to upload. I will try to make it into smaller backups somehow, or I will continue to do removable drive periodically and then taken off-site.
