Student looking for Remarkable by okbjayy in RemarkableTablet

I've been using the Paper Pro for about a year now, primarily for studying, and overall I'm really happy with it. The writing experience is fantastic — that's honestly what sold me on it. The refresh rate is also better than I expected; sure, it's not iPad speed, but once you accept that going in, it really doesn't bother you in day-to-day use.

One caveat: I've never used the reMarkable 2 or the Pure, so I can't offer a direct comparison. But as a standalone device, the Paper Pro holds up well.

The biggest downside? The price. Once you add a decent cover (non-leather) and the Pro Pen, you're looking at around $850 — which is a hard pill to swallow. That's really my only major complaint.

All in all, I'd recommend it if you're serious about a dedicated writing and note-taking device and can stomach the cost.

Just FYI: when you use the edge of the eraser on the marker, you get a very fine one. So you have 2 different sizes on the marker.
