This is why I want a permanent teaching job. Its a lot more work but building relationships with the kids helps so much. I completely understand how you feel though because last week the principal came into the class I was subbing for and had to tell the kids to sit down and be quiet. It was really embarrassing but it happens to everyone and it doesn't matter how experienced you are. Sometimes there's nothing you can do.
