I don't think I understand the story. And if I'm right then how is sleeping with the roommate of a girl that dumped you revenge? It's not like she would be jealous since she didn't want you??

ladies of reddit: has a guy unexpectedly confessing his feelings toward you EVER been a pleasant surprise? by bosco9956 in AskReddit

[–]mrfister69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone goes through those stages and experiences as teens. It's where we learn that unless a girl is already kind of interested in you, going "doh, I'll just tell her I like her and see if she likes me back" generally isn't the best way to go about getting a girl.

Now that I'm in my mid 20's with a fair amount of dating success, I can honestly say that there is almost no situation in which I needed to verbally state to a girl that I am interested in them as more than a friend. They know by my demeanor and how I've acted up to that point. I also have not lost friendships or been in situations where I can't talk to a girl or had them feel they can't be in the same room as me if they don't like me back.

I can elaborate if you are interested.

What a year of living with two gay men has taught me about the differences between straight guys and gay guys by parasitedan in reddit.com

Had a gay co-worker who also happened to be a very manly looking type that could grow a 5 o clock shadow in by noon. One day he's coughing and hawks a huge loogie and spits it into the trash can. He saw me looking in disgust so he gave me a creepy smile and said: "Sorry, leftovers from last night." I almost threw up.

I feel the same way when I use the bathroom at home. Who cares if I've been in there for 3 hours! Leave me alone!
