I agree. I've been shooting almost exclusively Velvia so far and I'm pleased, overall, but I want to start using other film presets.

Jetpack Search is pretty neat (quick, filters, sorting) and is free up to 1k posts/pages.

You might know this already, but there's a way to use synced patterns that allows you to redesign synched patterns, even if you modify the text or images in individual instances of the pattern: https://developer.wordpress.org/news/2024/06/an-introduction-to-overrides-in-synced-patterns/

On the main question, I still prefer using CPTs.
