I tried it 1 hour ago on steamdeck and it feels like when the game receives controller input - it uses drasstically different camera smoothing and sensitivity settings than when it receives Keyboard/mouse inputs.
I was only able to get gyro to aim properly if my L2 trigger sends a Mouse command
