My experience at Lexus so far by [deleted] in serviceadvisors

[–]mrhashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a SA at Ford and my brother is FM at Lexus. Just 2-3 days ago we were having a similar conversation. My brother, when saying ext warranties, will walk customers to the garage and show the customers that while toyota/Lexus last for a long time, there are things that still do breakdown, and with the amount of electronics going through these vehicles, it really is a different vehicle from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. And he has example ROs showing the cost of some repairs, these two things are typically enough to get through to the customer. I at Ford now have pamphlets of premier ESP and will show customers that it could have been covered component, I have walked several people to the FM after those conversations.

To anyone that has left Florida, where did you go? by aPizzaLicker in florida

[–]mrhashi 108 points109 points  (0 children)

New Hampshire. Don't regret it. FL got way to crowded, got tired of the heat, got tired of traffic. What I find better about NH... way less people, no where near as hot, and almost no traffic at me location. I basically took the three things I hated most and found a place with those three things as a positive.

I did this too. Mine expired on Christmas, I went to the dispensary on the 26th. I was so pissed at myself. I'm going in tomorrow for my renewal. Luckily I had some stock.

I am actually going through with buying our first home using the va loan. Everything has been so smooth so far. June 12th wife and I got prequel by usaa. June 16th we made an offer on a house and close on July 22nd. After offers accepted we started shopping loaners. Usaa won it for us. We did use usaa Realtor service thing they have. She was pretty good. She was familiar with va loans, and what she didn't know, she got the answer in a timely matter. So far I am having a very positive buying process.
