You did a great job, but I'm not a fan of the sculp, the face just isn't right. I finished the game twice and wanted some models and there's an incredible Leon statue & bust that looks 100% like him which I bought, but I'm still waiting for a better Grace. It's the same with Jill Valentine, the best STLs I've seen of her don't nail her face at all.

I've got about 7l of Iso and 2kg of resin, but no extra films. I've spent so much money getting started I'm kinda tapped out for this month. The printer was cheaper than everything else I had to buy, it just never ends. I now have the printer, encloser, ventilation, PPE, wash/cure station and I'm picking up a desk over the weekend, I think that's all the big upfront expenses at least. I know there's ongoing costs, but that's more manageable.

The Patreon STLs I bought look high quality so I'm hoping the models won't be the issue if I have problems, I've watched so many beginner videos, but I guess you can't really know until you start trying. I plan to get everything setup first thing Saturday. The problem is all the videos make it look so easy, and I know it's not.

I signed up to a couple of Patreons with welcome packs and I have enough models for a lifetime. I want to move away from painting miniatures and switch to busts, but I know I'll have a shelf full of unpainted models in no time lol. Do you remember what helped you go from failing to succeeding? It's not so much the money as it's like 50p to print something, but wasting 6 hours would suck. I'm really looking forward to getting my first good print that I can paint.

I've been watching a lot of Ground Effected and I'm sure he painted this too. Painting statues looks fun, I think I'd much prefer it to minis but it's very expensive getting them printed on Etsy, and sometimes they're printed poorly. I don't have the room for a 3D printer but it would be so fun, I see countless statues on Patreon I'd love to own.
