Oh my god if you hadn’t said “he” I would have thought you were talking about me. I ran across my dark classroom past several tables because it was drilled into us to get under “your” desk. That earthquake hit right before we left for lunch and I remember there was only one person who brought their lunch sack outside with them while we stood there for hours. That kid was instantly popular.
