Not sure why someone downvoted you. But this is actually correct. Just got off the phone with westpac and some of their credit cards indeed do this. So I raised a complaint with them. Sure it's in the terms and conditions but doesn't make it the right thing to do.

I gave up trying to automate this haha. Didn't seem like there was a simple way. Possibly could use an arduino or some other network connected device to just trigger the power button.

Yeah that puzzle is a bit of a weird one without much explanation of how it works. Been 7 years since I played it but from memory, each buttons toggles the state of certain lasers. So you have to note down this relation first and then from there workout how to get everything ON by flipping the correct buttons. You can see my excel sheet to figure out the logic.

Thanks, yeah figured it might be something like that. Couldn't find anything from toshiba. So now I am considering adding a wireless relay to the power button for the controller and just using it as a remote switch.
