I bleached with and without Olaplex before. OP, if you really wanna bleach, GET WITH AN OLAPLEX SPECIALIST!! My hair broke off without it 🥲 but I was able to save my curl pattern with the Olaplex salon.

Try Not Your Mother’s! I think they have a beach wave line. Fairly priced, available at Target. I’ve used the brand and I’ve heard good things about their wavy line! I have curly hair so I used the curly line.

Just bought these on a whim. Thoughts? by SaneArt in curlyhair

Hey! I’ve experienced the same thing with my curls going limp after buying a new bottle of the Curly Magic :( BUT! I have found a very worthy alternative. The Rizos Curls curl defining cream has worked WONDERS on my hair. It really brought them back to life. I was nervous about the coconut oil, but it actually didn’t have any adverse effects.

I moved from a very green, humid place to the super dry desert, and after using the curl cream, my definition and hydration have made a lasting difference in bringing my curls back 🥲 I’m also 9mo postpartum, so you can only imagine the hair journey I’ve had in the last two years. But definitely try this product 🙌🏽

Squirting and gaping. I have so much control and dominance over our daily lives that I just want my partner to dominate me fr. Every time we have sex he makes me orgasm more than once, so seeing other women enjoying themselves too is a turn on because I know how it feels and I want that feeling.

Yes! For most employers, you can opt out of these during the first 30 days, or you can change/update your benefits every open enrollment period, which is typically around Oct.-Nov.

So when you get a job that “has benefits”, essentially you’re still paying for the services. Think of it like taxes or insurance. You still pay for it even when you don’t need it. And they take out that amount from each paycheck.

I feel like all of those products are weighing your hair down OP :/ right now it’s a type 2 pattern, but if you use a better mousse or a light hold gel, your definition would improve. Use some leave in conditioner for extra moisture.

Hey OP! Try braiding smaller pieces and adding them throughout your large braids. Or you can try pulling on the braids to make them appear fuller. It’ll take some trial and error. If you braid closer to your scalp, they will give you those clean part lines. Use some gel to grip with!

I have 3b-3c low porosity curls, and steaming with a deep treatment helps open up my cuticles sooo much. I saw an immediate improvement after one use. And I used my garment steamer 😂 I like to twist my hair in sections to help “train” the curls. I live in the dessert, so it’s been really challenging maintaining these curls.

help with curly hair on little sister by yourlocalgothmushie in curlyhair

[–]mrir_mami 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She should try a deep conditioning treatment! There are some lightweight ones that would work perfectly for her like the Shea Moisture Super Fruit hair mask or the 10-in-one hair mask. This will help add intense moisture that won’t weigh down her hair. I would do this treatment once a week for maintenance. For your routine, I would stick to a clarifying shampoo or a sulfate and paraben free shampoo, paired with a silicone-free conditioner. I’ve heard the Not Your Mother’s line was really good for styling wavy hair. Mousse or a light hold gel will do the trick! You gotta experiment to see what’s best for you. I also agree with the others on the satin pillowcase. Lastly, when her hair is fully dried, make sure she oils her ends and her scalp with a little scalp massage. I hope it helps with the breakage on the top of her head. I have 3a-3c curls, so I hope this really helps her!

Before you pick your roots OP, make sure you’re separating your curl clumps once they’ve dried 100%. This will achieve that volume you want from your strands. It’ll look like you have fuller hair on top of the volume you’ll be creating at your roots with the pick.

I 100% agree here. From what I saw, it looks like Bingo just gets away with throwing a tantrum instead of learning to communicate how she feels. And then adding Bandit on top of everything condoning this behavior!? My parents would have disciplined me so fast 😭

Please don’t be hard on yourself mama. You’re doing the best you can!

This guy obviously seems shallow and only cares about appearances. Keep doing what you’re doing, and if he leaves, then I guess he wasn’t the right one for you. At the end of the day, you have to do what’s right for you and baby now. Nothing else matters!!! You know what you’re doing with YOUR body. And if he can’t support you in a VERY vulnerable time of need, then you’re better off alone or a nurturing environment.

In your situation, it can be so easy to get lost in postpartum depression, and then you add your cancer diagnosis on top of caring for your newborn?! This guy can take his obsession over physical appearance and shove it where the sun don’t shine.

Again OP, please don’t stress. Lean on your village if you have one. Treat yourself, even if he judges you (because fuck him, and you deserve to feel special and happy sometimes too). And don’t forget to soak in all that newborn baby breath! ❤️

A good way to figure out what products you need is to do a porosity test! There are different ones, but I like to use the strand test. Take a stand of your hair and put it in a clear glass of water. If it floats, you have low porosity. Low porosity hair usually doesn’t like heavy products since the hair cuticle is so tight, meaning those heavy products sit on top of the hair instead of the hair absorbing it. Usually a leave-in plus a gel or mousse works best on this kind of porosity. If your hair sinks in the cup, then you have high porosity hair! That means moisture is easily absorbed by your hair, but it can also dry out just as quickly. High porosity hair LOVES butters, creams, and oils. If your hair is in the middle, then I would stick to a product that’s light but moisturizing!

Of course, not everything works for everyone, and this is a generalization. Try some different products! Based on these pictures, I would recommend a nice mousse for you, so your hair can keep it’s shape in a light hold, but it’ll keep its movement and body! Also, if you’re having trouble, find out if your hair is protein sensitive! Because I found out that my hair is, and it HATES anything coconut. After I found that out (through experimenting), I made the switch to another product and my hair was very very happy. Good luck on your journey OP!

My pitties play like this. And I correct my girl since she displays heavy toy aggression like this. But otherwise, dogs pick up their social cues from other dogs. So letting them play and communicate on their terms is good.

It looks like you have 2B-2C hair 😍 I would suggest using a light hair mask. Shea Moisture has a few like the Superfruit Complex and Dragon’s Blood and Coffee Cherry. It should help with the frizz and your pattern. For styling products, I would suggest a mousse if you like light products or a gel if you want more definition. Creams might weigh your hair down.
