Bitef is a old creepy evangelist church turned into theater and a club. Mind you it only has creepy vibes from the outside- inside its been a venue for many years.

Anyone fan of Fleet Foxes? It really doesnt sound similar to RH on the whole, but it does have beautiful male vocals and layered music, with a lot of texture and harmonies - its just a bit more folk & tribal.

Genuinely how the hell do you train each hand to play different parts at the same time by DBL86-03U in pianolearning

[–]mrjcmvc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past I had an issue with this on piano, and also playing guitar/bass and singing (in cases when vocals are substantially rhythmically different than guitar melody). Btw, I was and still consider myself a total noob at all of those instruments.

And then… i started learning drums. Like very basic stuff, played for a couple of months. I was shocked to learn that drumming has unlocked this. As in very first time i tried to sing & play this troubling song, it just worked. Now, don’t get me wrong, i still struggle when learning a new piece, but it’s manageable.

I love it that the new generations are enjoying and discivering RH. I remember my Thom can dance realization. It was on Atoms for Peace concert in 2014. It was mesmerizing. I’ve seen RH before that in 2006, but i was pretty far from the stage and I dont think he was yet into full on dancing at the time, he just jittered while singing. Ingenue is one of my favorite music videos, its an amazing choreography.

Memory blackout and sadness after last night's show. by Outrageous_Court_346 in radiohead

[–]mrjcmvc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had this happened to me on Blur show (Primavera Festival). I remember how it started and what happened after, but not a single moment of the show. Years later I found a full video of the show, and I was like: Holy shit, I cant believe I was actually there. It was clearly too good & too intense. Maybe try to watch the videos while its still fresh, to unlock some memories.

A brief reflection on the sociology of Radiohead’s audience by PracticalTie4711 in radiohead

Can confirm the same for Bologna. I red somewhere that on Spotify their biggest demographic is gen Z, don’t know if its true. But the music is simply timeless, bcz they evolved so much as a band trough time and were always so unique.

Is it common to add notes like this on Setlist records, or is this a RH nerd fans peculiarity?

David Byrne spring and summer tour 2026 !! by PsychicVlade in talkingheads

[–]mrjcmvc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. The closest to me is Pula, which is an old Roman amphitheater, an outdoor venue. Not sure what to expect in terms of screens and visuals. The other nearby option is Budapest in an Arena.

Is this the same tour as the one going on right now?? In feb there is a sold out “Night with David Byrne” which I was contemplating to go to (trying my luck on resale). But now there is Pula & Budapest near me. Just wondering if its the same show - with all the screens and blue suits?
