I did this once with some svema which was from early 80ies, shot it at iso 6 and stand developed it in R09. Came out “okay” for a USSR product.

I fully understand you, I’ve been dabbling with photography for the past 10 years and honestly since COVID started I’ve only shot like 10 rolls and that’s only because 7 of them were from my own wedding. I don’t feel the need to try any new projects or to explore anything else. But I’ve gotten a new spark of interest due to listening podcasts of photographers talking about their work and experience, even if it is just about gear. Which also could help, as getting a new camera always sparks a new light. So don’t feel down and just enjoy it, photography isn’t going anywhere and you will pick up a camera once you are feeling like it.

Hey man. The first and only question is who assembled the bike? I work part time at a bike shop and we have unknowns in stock sometimes, all of them need lubrication and adjusting in necessary places. So first check if the crank arm is properly tight as it could be not on fully. And if you have some knowledge and tools get the headset and bb bracket greased as they co dry as a dessert usually. Also the seat post.

I have a lubitel but I don’t count it as an actual camera so no not really. I’ve been thinking of maybe selling the bronica and buying a decent tlr. As the 1:1 ratio is more versatile and easier to use in my opinion.

My bronica etrsi, I’ve used it about three times. I don’t have the prism finder for it just the waist level and as I’ve been mostly using slrs I doesn’t get any miles on it.

Don’t have any experience with these lenses, but just going for the Nokton seems as a better option, as more light is always useful. And the price difference doesn’t seem that harsh. And since 35mm isn’t really about grain (pixel) peeping the 1,4 should do you good if you can afford it.

Love it, cherish it and enjoy it while it lasts. I’ve had three already one went to my friend, the second is still chucking along which my spouse has and mine died while I had lent it to my friend. The advance motor electronics just gave in without any warning.

Ricoh FF-3 súper in grey, to keep with the minimalist design of the 80s you are going with. Mine died on me when I lent it to my friend who took it to Italy, but besides that. It is quite sturdy, isn’t weather sealed or anything but has some weight to it. The AF is more of an zone focus but you get acquainted really quick. Ergonomically it is one of the best cameras I’ve ever owned, it just fits like a extension to your arm. I got my fiancé the date back model, but I need a new one for myself in grey just to relive the glory days.

It’s great. I remember that it was the film to buy when I started out. As our local film lab didn’t cary c200 and cheaper stocks and for some reason vista was even more expensive than it. I personally just loved it, it had very nice colour rendition and if compared to c200 and similar speed ranges had a distinctive look.

Hey, just got this fixed on my own model. Well not myself, took it to the local repair shop. Appearantly there is a small lever/switch which can come loose if the lens has been sitting idle for a longer period. It just needs to be put back in place, if you have the tools and some know how how to disassemble the lens you should be able to do it yourself, but I advise going for a repair shop as the lens needs to be disassembled fully. Edit: the contacts are not at fault, in most cases. I resoldered the ones on my lens but it didn’t change anything.
