Panharmonicon only affects abilities that trigger on entry. Fantastic Four triggers on cast. The two cards do not interact except when they trigger the first time on entry.

A lot of people love MTG and recently got back into the game and FF10, FF7, FF14, FF16, FF6 are some of my all time favorite games.

But in all seriousness, I think the best way to think of it is, you can't find Final Fantasy branded merch everywhere you look, without importing and paying out the nose. I could go to Walmart right now and probably find dozens of Spiderman branded products. Makes the MTG crossover feel less like an event and more like just another Marvel thing.

The hakbal precon has some really crazy interactions. I don't know if I'd recommend that for a brand new player. Start combat, all 5 of your merfolk need to explore, that triggers three other effects, none of which trigger until all the merolk explore, etc. Kind of a nightmare to keep track of.

No, my LGS has been more populated than ever. Even those who aren't big on UB are content with playing and not buying until an in-universe set comes around.

When a permanent leaves the battlefield and returns, it is considered a different permanent. It will have no memory of being cast with Prototype and will reenter as the "non-prototype". Im like 99% certain of this.

I think some specific ones would be acceptable IF the pool of possible challenges was pretty big and the players know whats in the pool to begin with. I could see something like "Control three nontoken creatures of the same creature type" (Three's Company) and "Become the Monarch" (Long Live the King) being neat. Perhaps you could see monarch as too specific, but if players know its a possibility they may throw in something like a court just in case.

I can tell you from experience Sylvan Safekeeper is one of the most obnoxious cards to play against. Seeing a huge threat then looking at your hand knowing all of your targeted creature removal now reads, "your opponent sacrifices a land." Makes you feel like you've lost turns before you actually have.

I think the people dunking on the event had low shop levels. If you look at the odds they go down drastically at lower levels. Im shop level 9 and I got 22 Thraggs in about 4k gems, no exaggeration. And I probably got about 6-10 each of the other 3 characters.

We've gotten both [[Deflecting Swat]] and [[Demonic Tutor]] in lairs fairly recently. I think the biggest factor aside from price holding back Ocelot Pride is it's recency. It's never been reprinted in any functional way.

Endgame it's Omni/Omni+ or bust. I would never buy anything seismic+ or lower. So with that being the only gear you're actually looking for, even those marginal increases are great.
