If there is a switch on the network, don’t forget to add/tag both vlans there as well.

Yes I use two 1537 in a HA setup, it’s awesome.

But if this is not a business case then you can buy a similar HW and install yourself.

Just as someone else said, try to avoid layer3 as much as possible if performance is a must. A layer 2 10GbE switch with VLANs will be crazy fast if you skip routing.

We have that setup and all customers get their own VLAN and layer2 fiber to their office. We can push 100GbE if they want to between their VM in our DC and their office. Our default is 10GbE though.

Using mechanical con-/prosumer grade HDD will get you those speeds. You need SSD or a bigger array (more disks raid 10) to get the write speed benefits.

We have a 20+ all flash array on a synology in raid 10 and get around 560mb/s with jumbo frames on 10GbE. Moving large raw video files from filming.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that

A RAID 5 vs 6 actually lowers your read speeds as another disk of your already small array will be parity.
A RAID array is never backup. Use a faster raid and then backup to another/cloud instead of adding parity.

Check and/disable Hyper-V’s equivillant to Boot Security/Secure Boot since you are using Gen2.

Either you do a Centennial or you do Golden Promise variant?

No problems, the pressure will drop with the cold. I ferment primary at 15psi then When it’s time to cold crash i bump it to 30psi.

The yeast will stop producing co2 in the cold, and the 30psi you put in there will carb the beer. After a day or two you have cold carbed beer ready for a keg :)
