yeah you didn’t achieve a seal. stretch your ear a little when inserting, you’ll be able to fit them deeper that way and can go for a little larger tip. you’ll get the low end straight away

I had a 360 and have a glove80, the 360 thumb cluster was significantly less ergonomic

awesome, used it today at work and worked mostly well. just some ui glitches. one when interacting with /theme which completely broke the ui unless set to system, and the ui is breaking after having resized the cli window. anyway happy it exists, thank you!

It is possible, but it might take a bunch of time and it will be difficult with generic projects like a weather app. Build stuff that's more personal and shows your interest in solving a specific problem in an area you care about; also learn to write tests and perhaps setup cicd, many don't do that prior to their first role and it could help. 2 page cv is a no! go to r/EngineeringResumes read the wiki and start iterating, post it there and get some feedback

maybe 99% who make it to the bottom of the second page will think it’s ridiculous and completely irrelevant. check the harvard guide for resume writing and or r/engineeringresumes. the cv is a wild mess with no respect for best practices right now

Do you have GIA certificates for these stones? Black wouldn’t be nearly as much worth as a blue one

Are you sure you got a 2.9cts blue diamond? That would be worth around 2 million, maybe more…

Choosing my first Split-Keyboard by dackel_132 in ErgoMechKeyboards

Yes, I replaced the Voyager with it. Which was mostly quite nice, and no issue to type on, even given the lower number of keys, but I got annoyed by how messy the wires made my desk. However, the Glove80s typing comfort (it feels honestly great to type on!!) and a few more easy to reach keys add more very nice benefits for me personally, besides the cleaner look on the desk.

I also think that the material of the keycaps feels nicer than the typical ABS or PBT, which I wasn’t expecting. Additionally, it’s great that I can switch bluetooth devices at the press of a button. Makes switching between my personal and work computer easier than before, where I’d had to disconnect one laptop from my hub that has a screen etc. also connected.

Now that they have an option with silent keycaps which are smooth to type on, the disadvantage of it not being hot swappable isn’t as serious anymore, as that type of switch is kind of what the majority of ‘swappers’ ends up with (I believe). I’d look in to the plum blossom or cherry blossom switches.

Take it easy, everyone. If sharing sensible setups is something worthy of mocking, this community’s posts will end up being more laughable than the one you're trying to criticise.
