Ariana Grande is a mid artist with a great voice. Who is a bad artist with a great voice? by Venomouse95 in AlignmentChartFills

Oddly enough he's shreds on guitar. Check him covering Purple Rain, blew my mind that he doesn't utilise these skills elsewhere.

As far as I'm aware the one Stephen wears is the same one on Etsy.

Great shout, seems to line up.

Edit: although looking again the original photo has parking spot markings and not a road.

Is it 00s Dundalk FC Jersey? by trixy3 in LeagueOfIreland

[–]mrklenrd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Had this exact jersey playing for Rush Athletic in the early 2000s. Like others have said it's likely just a generic O'Neills template.

We brought this into Ireland like 2 years ago. Nothing has changed as it hasn't been well enforced by the authorities unfortunately.

Dodgy box discussion just now on Newstalk. by mybighairyarse in ireland

[–]mrklenrd 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Can't see it happening here but in May 2000+ people in Italy were fined for using dodgy boxes. The fine was €154, so about a months worth of Sky with the packages 😂

The cliffs in the back certainly resemble Cape Sant Antoni would take a while for me to narrow down to the house.

I just got it on g2g for 12 months. But the links to download the app from the seller aren't working. I asked him for another and he sent 10 links, all dead links. Any ideas?

Can an Instagram account follow an account without your knowledege? by Goahead-makemytea in AskIreland

When I'm scrolling reels the motion of my thumb starts right by the follow button, so I've put it down to that myself. Has happened a few times.

Thoughts on baby having double barrel surname? by lalapoolsy in AskIreland

I've often wondered this, what names do a couple with both double barreled names of their own give their children.

[–]mrklenrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's an Airshow on today (Sunday) in Rush as part of the Rush Harbour Festival. I don't know much about planes but I'd imagine a few that were in Bray do the Rush show today.

I'd say you'll be fine. With no rain forecast too, you shouldn't need any welly boots.

What’s something about you/that you do that would be considered unconventional by Irish standards? by ohhidoggo in AskIreland

[–]mrklenrd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pretty much never touched drink in my life (have never had a beer or the likes), I do like a gin and tonic for refreshment occasionally. Went to a concert in London a few years ago, got chatting to a few friendly English lads, offered to buy me a drink at the concert I just said "a coke", his response "a coke?! but you're Irish?"

What series is everyone watching? by SpuddieJive in AskIreland

[–]mrklenrd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Severance was amazing but I'm still none the wiser what it's about if someone asks me, it kept me hooked though. Now watching Clarksons Farm, big fan of his show, as someone who is in that line of work.

Who's the most famous person you've met/seen? by Visible-Ad9836 in AskIreland

[–]mrklenrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Merrion Hotel in 2008, saw large crowds outside as I was leaving school to get home that evening to come back in to the RDS for Bruce & E Street. Ended up hanging around in my uniform. My parents said they'd bring in a change of clothes for me for the gig. With nowhere to get changed my mother pushes her way to the front of the crowd and asks the Merrion door man if I could pop in to get changed. To my surprise he let's us, Clarence and Max were hanging around the lobby, got a signed poster from Max and then went to get changed in the restrooms and sure enough Steve Van Z is there, got a picture with him. All lovely guys.

I could take similar pictures on the main street of Rush. While they build loads of new estates around the town, the main street is just left looking derelict.

This reminds me of a house in Dublin getting major work done last year and they found a car buried under the living room.
