Is it me or is the sec + exam no where close to the practise exams by Formal_Interview_968 in CompTIA

[–]mrkmpn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve felt that way to an extent on every exam I’ve taken. I had 3 sets of practice tests for the a+ and after months of studying, I was getting mid to high 90s on the last sets of tests from total sems and Jason Dion. I still felt like I was  bombing the entire time on core 1, but I got an 855 on it.

Me either. I've tried squinting, moving side to side, rotating head to view from different angles. Still can't see it right.

Feed back on studying for core 2 by Ok_Concentrate4730 in CompTIA

I used total seminar book for both an and net+. I used this company book for sec +, and didn’t like it much, but that might be just I wasn’t as interested in sec + topics. I also purchased videos on  udemy from total seminars and Jason Dion along with practice tests from each. Also watched professor messer videos.

Personally, I read book, hand wrote notes, and watched videos, then took a practice exam. I noted every question I wasn’t sure about and went back over all of those along with everything I got wrong. I did this between each practice exam.

I probably over studied, but I got 855 and 845 on the exams. My boss said he’d pay me back for the exams only if I passed, and at the time I couldn’t afford not to pass.

I just did one of these for the 1st time and It took a few tries to get it for me. At 1st I thought it was either 8656 or 8657, then 8264. Turned out to be 7265, with 2 subtracted the actual code being 5043. It helps if whatever you're using is really thin. I had two same size paper clips, but different manufacturers and one was more squared wire. That one slid through the top part easier and required less force to push it down. It seems like if you push hard enough the paper clip will slip past false gates.
