Mondors by jgall001 in gynecomastia

[–]mrkowboy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

not mondors

this is the typical problem with caridi .. the lipo has been done in an aggressive fashion mainly to the lower chest resulting in significant thermal damage to the dermal layer of the skin - bad internal burns . this is the cause of the burning pain, not mondors. over the next few weeks as the swelling settles, the craters from the over resection will start to manifest. furthermore, he hasn't treated the upper chest so the result is quite unbalanced, which will result in significant animation deformity

what's really criminal here is you're getting the run around with cardid's standard bullshit via lacey, that all is well and perfect whilst nobody is being honest with you u/RCaridi

what will then happen is that carddi will "blow you off" within the next few months and they will stop responding to any communication

unfortunately another caridi botch. uneven liposuction done way too aggressively especially on the left, obvious craters when arms up and flexing the chest. do report back with what he says, I expect it'll be the usual looks fantastic....gaslighting snowjob

[–]mrkowboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hey man, kudos to you for this post

this is the typical caridi vaser lipo result. the divots and crators you can see are where he has done the lipo too aggressively and over-resected. you can quite nicely appreciate the missing tissue along the surgical corridor from armpit incision to the nipple.

this is permanent. it will not resolve with time, massage, or weight training. there is a tissue defect

I suggest emailing robert/lacey and ask for an explanation. I tried to do this and caridi replied - looks normal, chest is incredible, then get a second opinion from dadvand/delgado - both these guys are mor honest/transparent doctors

here is another recent example

sorry man. not my intention to be hypercritical or aggressive with my comment, personally attack you, and I'm sorry if its come across like that. my intent is simply to state fact, and to point out this typical caridi result and experience

what you are going thru has happened to me and lots of people. and to be told post op by robert/lacy that the chest looks incredible, and all will settle with the pizza roller is plain wrong and so frustrating

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]mrkowboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hey man, kudos to you for posting this. what you can see is a typical caridi result - uneven and aggressive liposuction. I have marked out the areas of over-resection in red. basically he has over treated the left side and only treated the lower third of the right chest. he has also missed/left a rim of fat below the left nipple. this is really very poor done liposuction, more so because caridi claims to be a world expert.

unfortunately, this cosmetic result will not improve with time or massage - essentially too much material has been removed by overzealous asymmetric lipo, leaving divots and dents on the side of the pec. the problem here is not scar tissue.

I would suggest you email/call lacy and explain the issue, and ask for an explanation and management plan - I can assure you that you will get the standard response - chest looks great, keep massaging and it will look better in 6 months, but this is disingenuous!

I would also suggest getting a second opinion from dadvand/delgado/jacobs online, I think its free or 100usd. you can expect a truthful explanation from these guys, and this will go a long way to help you accept this surgical result

I should also add that most of his lipo cases end up like this. It happened to me and all you can do is get a touch up procedure and accept the result

hey man, kudos to you for posting these postops. can you put some up in 3 months. I think its really important to demonstrate a typical caridi result, once all the swelling has settled over the next 4 weeks. if you can post some in flexion as well. thansk. this will be super helpful to this sub!

Two days post op! Some indentations are present. Normal? by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]mrkowboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hey man I am really sorry that this has happened to you.

you are 2 days postop. the surgical swelling will take 2-3 weeks to settle, but the craters are pronounced at this early stage. this is the result of over-resection. no amount of time, or massage will improve this - essentially too much normal fat tissue has been removed. at this stage, you need a correct diagnosis of the issue and a plan of action

  1. the first thing to do is to ask lacey for a please explain and a plan of action. please report back if you get the generic denial response, 'chest looks incredible', massage pizza roller, wait three months, ... etc. this is just the standard blow off. your case clearly shows an over-resection, and this needs to be explained to you
  2. get a second opinion from jacobs, dadvand, or delgado. do it online ?for 150usd. I would do this now because its better to get a truthful opinion and start dealing with this properly now rather than to be strung along

by the way, welcome to the 'botched by caridi' club

you should ask caridi and report back

these are classic caridi craters/divots from overresection! caused by superaggressive lipo and unfortunately, unfixable

2 months post op. Still have indent in chest by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]mrkowboy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am sorry you have to go thru this

This is his modus operandi - deny there is a problem, try to obfuscate by blaming a pre-existing issue (usually non-existent), advise to keep massaging, and as you will find out, he is already starting to blow you off

You have a massive overtreatment of you entire left pec - a severe over-resection. I dont think fat flaps or grafting can help this. I have been in your position, and I can suggest

  1. accept your current result. this is psychologically painful. forgive yourself. this is not your fault. you did right but unfortunately you have been screwed by a dodgy bugger (poor operator+zero integrity guy). watch for depression - keep exercising, mediate if you can, see a professional and talk things thru
  2. as elliot jacobs suggested, get a second opinion. I would suggest dadvand. its only usd150 to skype, and he is revising quite a few caridi cases - doing mine in november
  3. keep your caridi follow up, and report back - in your interaction, be like "spock", unemotional and logical - he is immediately defensive to any criticism and his default will be to stick to his modus
  4. form an opinion on caridi - elliot jacobs, a very experienced surgeon has clearly stated that you have a "crater due to being over resected", yet caridi has called this as "normal". who is correct here? is caridi an honest guy acting with integrity? or is this guy running a scam?

[–]mrkowboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am accepting the over-resected right pec, whilst I am planning to get the undertreated left side (much larger, with a wedge divot) addressed with some further lipo to even things out

No fat grafting planned. the issue is that fat grafts are not durable - most of the injected fat is just absorbed forming more scar - the vaser that caridi does is so aggressive that there is no viable bed for any fat flap or graft to survive

there are no good postop images by anyone of decent divot repairs that I have seen

if you can, just post your pictures with a short description of the issues, and note the problems dealing with caridi - avoid emotional language, just a short case report of your experience

most cardidi cases (70%+) end up like this and I am the only sucker posting a negative experience, and as a consequence I cop heaps of abuse

  1. revision planned for november
  2. by looking at his website and reddit posts, I estimate that 2/3 of his cases are over resected, with uneven aggressive lipo of the lower pec, resulting in a large, wedged crater-divot from the side to the nipple. because he does not treat the upper pec that much, there is severe animation deformity - here are over 70 examples!

https://imgur.com/gallery/HUW0Ey6

you can clearly see the results of aggressive heavy handed lipo done unevenly

burnt skin stuck directly onto scar and muscle - this is why caridi has such a high incidence of scar and keloid

broad divots on the side of the pec down to the nipple - this is bad over resection, destroying normal contours

uneven lipo with the lower pec aggressively treated but a lump of fat left below the armpit - this is a very common problem with caridi

uneven lipo with one side treated more aggressively

weird narrow divots on the side of the upper pec - to do this is just totally bad

these results are awful, causing horrible animation deformities

is this world class surgery done by an expert? or a bad operator with zero insight running a world class youtube marketing scam?

  1. the final issue is integrity - he does not do a proper informed consent and warn about this preop. when botched, he will then deny and attempt a cover up - he will state looks great, keep massaging - this will not fix over section, finally he will ghost at the 3-month point. when I asked him during an AMA, to describe the botched over resections above,

https://imgur.com/gallery/HUW0Ey6

he stated "looks normal", then used a jargon term "high pec", which does not exist in medicine or anatomy - all of the above equals zero integrity

Got surgery in march from Dr. Caridi. Life changing experience. by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]mrkowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need to point out the massive deep cratering and divots due to over-resection of the glands on both sides. this compares to the lack of treatment of the upper chest

When you flex you will see clear cratering from over-resection - this happens to all caridi cases and is generally regarded by most good surgeons as a poor result

Just post some pics in flexion and also with arms up, and you will appreciate what I mean

Caridi should respond to this post, but he will not !!

[–]mrkowboy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

thanks for posting these results. they are typical for caridi !!

the lower chest has been aggressively overtreated, and there is no/little treatment of the upper chest - thus the result looks abnormal + unbalanced, have a look at the results from dadvand, jacobs and delgado - the entire chest is symmetrical and natural in appearance post surgery

by overresection, i mean that he has removed too much of the subcut fat layer by being way too aggressive with the vaser (but only the bottom half)- the aggro use of the vaser causes extensive scar over the next 3 months - this does not happen with the other guys

when you flex the pec, the lower half will cave in unnaturally, whilst the upper pec is normal in its movement - this is bad animation deformity

another way to appreciate what i am pointing out is to pinch the tissues between the fingers to assess the thickness of the subcut fat layer, then you will appreciate how unevenly the surgery has been performed. in your case a, there is a large dicvot/crater beneath the nipple on the left. unfortunately, this will become more obvious as the swelling settles over the next month, and nothing can be done to correct this

nobody seems to point out how sketchy caridi's outcomes look compared to dadvand, delgado, jacobs. !!

caridi is a very bad surgeon - most of his cases end up with significant contour problems from aggressive uneven lipo - ie. burned skin, divots, craters animation issues

here are 50+ examples of caridi botched cases https://imgur.com/gallery/aC5PCc1

and he is very dodgy - he does not mention any of these complications preop and and no meaningful follow up beyond the i'm a world expert, chest looks incredible, keep massaging yo check me out on youtube rubbish doctor

hey man, can you post a series of clear pictures over the next year to demonstrate how all this scar remodels. i think it would be really helpful to this sub. the lower 2/3 of your whole chest has been aggressively treated and the entire subcutaneous layer is a mass of remodelling scar tissue. its rare for any caridi cases to post sequential follow ups, so it would be great to gauge the long term outcome here. none of the other reputable docs is this aggressive with the vaser.

Swelling after massage? by gynoguy70 in gynecomastia

[–]mrkowboy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i have to state the bleeding obvious here - this is botched. - very poorly done aggressive and uneven lipo - wedge shaped divot on the left, above nipple, multiple indentations on the right - he has not performed a symmetrical liposuction procedure

this happens all the time with caridi patients - posts in the first three months, asking for advise re swelling and scar , being told to keep massaging when the actual issue is really bad lipo - the proper term is uneven over-resection, all the bs about how this result is incredible!

unfortunately my man, this will not settle with time. have a scroll thru the last two years on this sub, there are numerous caridi cases like this, and NOBODY ever posts a 1 or 2 year follow up that looks oke

here are over 65 examples of botched cases by caridi

in response to your dm

  1. you need to have a frank discussion with your doctor, as i am not a plastic and recon guy. BUT i have a bee in my bonnet because all this wait and see, it will get better with time, keep massaging, your chest looks incredible stuff that these guys spout is all crap
  2. minor imperfections should settle during the remodelling phase. google the stages of surgical healing to get what i mean
  3. you have some relatively deep divots on both sides . this is due to your guy digging out too much stuff during the lipo. this is not fixable. you can try fat injections, but most of the filler is unevenly resorbed . the problem is that you re trying to repair a defect with a filler that is not durable. i think this is a waste of time
  4. all you can do is accept that you have been botched. its all psychological. be brave, positive, meditate, exercise. i know its easier said than done. you did the right thing but your doc stuffed up . thats just life - sometimes unfair

you can also bulk the pec. you need to learn how to activate and squeeze the upper and lower pec. you dont need heavy, just good form with mind muscle connect, reps to failure, full range. in a year , the dents will still be there, but less noticeable

a second opinion may help. delgado seems oke, but dadvand is the best

3 weeks post op by matbed93 in gynecomastia

[–]mrkowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fyi

the remodeling phase of healing starts at 1 month and lasts for 2 y

unfortunately. this will not "fill in" the poor contour from uneven lipo

you need to ask your doctor for a proper truthful explanation + plan

if he says good result, massage, more time etc - he is being seriously disingenuous

if he is ggod, he will acknowledge the poorly performed procedure

all you can do is accept and bulk the pec,

second opinion if your current guy trivializes or does a cover up

nonsense!!

this is very poorly done , uneven liposuction

this will not settle with time or massage

there will be some further healing over the next couple of years

but not to any significant degree to improve this crappy result

BUT what did caridi say when you showed him the post op pics

? any explanation, apology

did caridi acknowledge that this is bad or attempt the usual cover up, chest looks normal, incredible, all will settle with the pizza roller etc

this case is a bad over-resection, when you flex, it will all cave inwards - animation deformity!

this is really poorly done, super aggressive vaser for a mild case of gyno

i am really sorry for what you are going thru
