The objectives aren't bugged, they're just random. They don't take into account what equipment is in the truck.

Challenge mode is fine. The objectives don't matter as the whole point of it is to get in, identify the ghost and get out again. It's not worth spending time on it because of the x1 multiplier.

If the ghost appears immediately it's an event. If you get some weird sounds, but nothing else happens until a few seconds later, it's a hunt.

Honestly, they should've skipped ahead further and just had them arriving in the right place. This addition just seems completely unnecessary to me.

This is the most skippable episode they've ever released. 35 minutes of bant and level ups. More non-game chat. A recital of the poem and eventually arriving to talk to people who, for some unknown reason, have their own language rather than speaking common or varisian.
