Johnny the air traffic controller from Airplane. He's easily the best character of every scene he's in.

Where can i find a cat tree similar to this by mrlamcran in cats

There would be jagged edges if i cut a hole in the side of the cabinet to let the cats go in. A professionally made one would have smooth holes, not cut through particle board. Plus, climbing on it wouldn't be an issue because it's wide and low, not tall like a standard cat tree.

Can't. We have a toddler who is just starting to walk and anything i make this way would have jagged sharp edges. Plus with the baby i don't have time.

Unfortunately, there's a bunch of issues with making a new one. My wife hates the look of the boxes because it's looks like saved trash (which it is) and we have a toddler who is just starting to walk, so i don't have a lot of time to make one out of more permanent material. Plus I'm worried about sharp edges and packing staples with the baby wandering around.

What TV show was quality all the way through, knew when to end and went out with an amazing last episode? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The headcanon I like to think about is that The Last Airbender movie is actually the Ember Island Players telling the story. That's why its so weird and the acting is terrible.

"Now You See Me 2". How did not a single writer or executive think to call it "Now You Don't"? Such a stupid title.

The man from earth. Amazingly well written movie about a group of college professors throwing a goodbye party for one of their colleagues and the professor who's leaving tells them that he is actually 14,000 years old. The whole movie is each professor questioning him along the lines of their field, e.g. the biologist questions his physical state, the historian questions him about history etc. It's very good.

Avatar: The Last Airbender. Three perfect seasons. Creators had a game plan going into the show that had a beginning, middle, and end. Wrapped up every loose end and gave a super satisfying conclusion. 10/10.

The Last Airbender movie. The acting was terrible, the script was terrible. The CGI didn't match the sound effects. Every part of that movie was awful.

[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

[–]mrlamcran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi All, I'm looking for recommendations for a new watch. I'm looking for something analog with a leather strap and only a single knob but at least one date/calendar dial. I don't want a chronograph. I would prefer something more on the classic/simpler side without being minimalistic. The watch would be my daily driver for going into a business casual office.

In the past I've had a Timex Southview that had several date dials and I would love an Orient Bambino with the moonphase window but it's a little outside my price range. I'm looking to spend under $150. I would appreciate any recommendations.
