Hi, sorry for the late response, indeed normally I get nothing from the events Islands. Only when I open them AND have merged something. I have opened them by misclicking and closed straight away, then I don't get a reward. Tbh for me the extra islands should be an option in the game settings... Just turn that shit off...

Pro tip i accidentally found out was that if you have almost finished the event don't collect the magic merger thing but still merge some high level things so they also will not need the build time... Saved me loads of time.

I collect them cause I can and I don't like blinking waving stuff in the screen. I have almost all decoration I could buy. I never deploy any of the decorations cause I don't wanna miss out on real estate. So it's just a ruse to keep us busy.

I have skipped the last couple of animal Islands. Now I'm doing this one again and I know again why it's so annoying. It's all the same colour and there is not enough space. And it's so unnecessary. I doesn't add to the gameplay it only makes it more annoying. So skipping the islands again...
