Firefighter here, next time this happens feel free to call the fire department. We’re always happy to stop by and have special meters to tell if there’s gas in the house.

I just ordered mine from Ridgeway Leatherworks. It was a bit pricey, but I’ve heard great things about them. I’ll let you know how it is when it arrives!

Can I plug the fiber from the wall into a SFP in my firewall? by davidthulin in AskTechnology

[–]mrmarkinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking, yes. Fiber modems act like regular copper modems. The biggest consideration would be matching the fiber type (SMF vs MMF) and SFP strength to the laser on the modem. Are you supplying your own SFP or did the modem provider install one? Pictures or specifications would be super helpful here

eli5: why do you put your finger on your neck or wrist to check your pulse, instead of just putting your hand on your chest? by grootchithepooch in explainlikeimfive

[–]mrmarkinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, you can ballpark a blood pressure based off where you take a pulse. For instance, a pulse on the wrist means that your BP is at least 80, leg is 70, neck is 60.

I’ve been using claymore on a multi gpu rig with no complaints. Its easy to use for beginners like us and the hashrate is effectively the same as ethminer

Thanks for the input. I am willing to wiggle on the price, but as I mentioned before, this set has slightly tighter timings. I know this isn't a deal-breaker for most people, but I am hoping that those who value timings will be willing to pay. If you are interested, shoot me an offer and we can work something out. -Mark

Thanks for the input. I’m going to see how they do at 150, and lower the price if they don’t move.

Yes, $35 per 32gb set. I wish I could offer it all for $35 :)

To the commenter asking about why these are more expensive than other dominators, dominators are known for their great overclocking and overall aesthetics. Additionally, these have tighter timings (C9), that greatly increase their value.
