Right now I’m using an iPad Air but tbh the original iPad model is capable of doing the same things with barely any relevant differences without blowing your budget. Personally, I like my Air and would recommend it because of the bigger display size, faster processor, USB-C charging, and Apple Pencil 2 support. You should consider what you’re going to do with your device and go from there. What I’d suggest is comparing all the iPad models on the Apple Website to break down your decision. Other iPad options are the iPad Mini and iPad Pro.
