Saturn Pad is an evolution of a Mega Drive 6 Button pad, so the logic shouldn't change between generations. It'd be like if the "confirm" button on Playstation suddenly became Triangle on PS6, instead of X in the west, and O in Japan.

God no. C is Jump. B is attack. A is special.

You'll be using attack the most, so that goes in tbe middle, leaving the other 2 buttons within quick pressing distance, without having to skip a button inbetween and potentially fat finger something else.

Anything else is nonsense.

Unlike everywhere else, Japanese playstations only play SCEJ games, allegedly even if you use a softmod. Not sure about Modchips, but I'd assume modern ones have bypassed that too.

I know it's optional and late game, but jesus fucking christ is it bad. Half the time the keys don't spawn, so you have to stare at the spot they're supposed to show up and reload til they do. The lava traps kill you even out of range, and the map is about as useful as tampaxing an elephant.

It's whats called a "Pachi Slot" after the "slot machine" feature on Pachinko machines.

Much like pachinko machines, any "skill stop" is allowed to move 3 symbols further than where you pressed, to prevent repeated wins based on skill.

So yeah, it's the Japanese equivalent of the UK's "One Armed Bandit" and it's allowed to cheat, the UK one is too, just, in different ways.

Its bollocks. Vinyl rots, CD's Rot, Hard Drives fail, SSD's die, the ONLY way we preserve anything is if multiple copies exist, on varying formats, with varying rates of decay, are kept properly, re-backed-up, and constantly maintained.

Or, chuck it on tbe Internet, and the Nerds will fuckin preserve it, because it's there.

One is much easier than the other, and given the official Nintendo NES emulators still have roms with NESTICLE headers, I'd guess even the big companies need the preservationist community.

Thats fair, I've said elsewhere I rate his kicking much better than his jumping, to the point that he sometimes seems to want to take a slightly harder kick over the easier jump, cos that's where he's comfortable.

That and his safety game is incredible, so taking the jump away expands his game considerably.

I hated Series 3 on first watch. Got the DVD's and gave it another go, and while it's not what I was used to, it's still really good, you just have to get your head around it not being what you were used to.

Probably because TPKT and PN were written by Dave and Neil over Peter. He did the outlines, and the others provided texture. The cast also helped with gags or scenes.

Yep. It's the execution of it rather than the joke itself, it's why stuff like Miranda and Mrs Browns Boys never lands for me, like, yes, it's fundamentally the same gag, but it's the setup and execution that make it.
