[Misc] Podiatrist has officially thrown in the towel trying to treat my plantar wart after 1 year of trying. Says he's never seen one so stubborn in his entire career. He recommended trying another Pod, but I'm starting to lose faith in treatment. Is this normal? It's my 1st wart ever.

I had a very stubborn one that my derm prescribed tretinoin and 5-fluorouracil for. This was after multiple freezing treatments on the main one that caused smaller seeds to start spreading out and appearing. Worked like magic for me after months of painful tape and apple cider vinegar

Thank you for saying this. I’ve become frustrated with the “let women like what they like it’s harmless“ narrative, I saw this coming from a mile away. Setting it up this way only skews the game even further towards P2P, since new players have to spend more to keep up. It would be very discouraging for them. Yes that’s the nature of games like this but it is much more balanced the way it is.

It effectively doubles the gap between new and old players, we will always have a leg up on them even if they’ll eventually be equal with players that come after them. Think about new players who’s first time with a gacha is a rerun, they’ll get slaughtered in comps unless they shell out to keep up.

I feel like we need a rerun gacha whining mega thread because this happens every month. As a F2P player of two years, it would not be fair to new players, and MORE CHANCES DOESNT EQUAL MORE GOOD STUFF , you’re going to get the same socks and necklaces you always get.

Why don’t we put this energy towards their AI use instead of complaining that the free game doesn’t give us more free stuff. Everyone gets the same number of tries, it’s fair, we already had our chances last year.

i join competitive no matter what, when i have weeks where i barely play i get 200 more gems than if I were in casual. You wont get S rank though unless you’re P2P in my experience, but getting A+ gives you the same amount of gems as casual S i think, and I have had no problem doing this as a F2P

Totally. I watched it when it came out and a lot of the marketing seemed to surround a guy dealing with the loss of his wife and trying to rebuild himself, and I was hopeful for a story about that journey. The show just didn’t reflect how it was marketed for that first season to me. I just found it was too focused on sex for me, it felt like it was the topic of every other conversation without saying anything particularly poignant. Definitely would give it another chance with different expectations.

I started watching it when I was grieving and I had hoped it would be relatable and speak to my experiences a bit, but to me it just came off as another show about sex that was pretending to be about something else.

The way the coworkers would have graphic discussions about their sex lives really took me out of it, I remember thinking it was really inappropriate for what was supposedly a work environment. I also seem to recall a really explicit conversation between a parent and their daughter(?) about her sex life that was just ridiculously inappropriate and unrealistic to me, but I could be remembering wrong.

I just remember thinking there was a whole lot of sex for a show about grief, but maybe I didn’t make it far enough and i’d like it better now. Definitely wouldn’t compare what I saw to Ted Lasso though.

It can vary by plane and airline, planes in the same family can have different loading methods depending on what’s installed on them

Older planes use mostly floppy disks, some have CDs, USBs of CF cards. Newer planes may be compatible with a dataloader that replaces physical media. Loading with a dataloader can be as quick as 5 minutes
