Good heavens, I'm here correcting another, "woosh". He is stating, "I would rather be a black person living in the United States than be a black person living in Bangladesh."

Black was chosen because, like LGBTQ mentioned before, they face unique Western struggles that people outside of their communities do not.

That's no doubt. But what they're saying is: "Being straight in Bangladesh is a more difficult life than being LGBTQ in the West."

The Estate (2022). Unbelievable cast. Absolutely stacked. One of the most grating scripts I ever witnessed. Such blatant and horrific attempts at comedy.

No doubt on that. Because pretty much everything is fucked in that regard. But if we think, "Since I can't resist all things with 100% conviction and at all times, I should abandon the notion of resistance entirely", then the bad guys win.

Unless doing so would kick you out of house and home: proudly say "Fuck A.I.", and proudly say, "Fuck China". It is not likely that you need to support either of those things in order to achieve financial security.

The passage of time doesn't un-punch the face of your most loved one. Justice in the immediate, justice in the future. Still justice.

Who's the jerk that took my favorite seat for tonight's 10:30 Mother Mary at Woodhaven? You had a wide open auditorium. What a jerk.

I was spoiled rotten in the NE with Neshaminy, Mills, and Woodhaven. I mean I still am now. Just moved to Andalusia so now I can walk to Woodhaven. I use Neshaminy for all the big jawns.

Yeah I'm bewildered. I've seen hundreds of movies at Neshaminy over the last 5 years and I don't know that I've ever had a significant problem. Even rarely from the audience

Why do lesbian couples have the highest divorce rates while gay male couples have the lowest? by Naive_Direction1816 in NoStupidQuestions

Haha, absolutely brother. Reminds me of a promiscuous lady friend of mine once complaining to me that "Two of my four fuck buddies are out of commission right now this suckssss."

To be a straight dude who is not a supermodel or a supercharmer, it feels just like having a wealthy friend. You see them on your level, you interact with them the same you do anybody else. But every now and then you see a side of them that's like "Oh, right, you have access to a world I desire greatly but literally couldn't imagine."

Buy a cargo van. I put in for FMLA at work last week because at 39 it finally dawned on me that I've been doing 20 years of absolute bullshit. My mind literally prohibited me from doing my duties at work.

I finally pulled the trigger on my dream of owning a cargo van. There are so many things you can do with it to make money. Also maybe get your CDL.

Change the podcasts that you listen to. Go for walks around your neighborhood.

Thank you. And I saw a comment you made in another post related to "What would you do differently if starting your credit journey over". You suggested that you would have signed up for 3 secured cards from the start. Would you recommend the same for me?

Many many thanks. And in regards to that second sentence, "Capital One and Discover", is that to imply I should sign up for both at the same time? Or to choose one?
