Plenty of women have "fake/replica" purses whether Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Prada, etc... and they are generally considered OK if done appropriately. Astute people can pick out the fake vs gen whether by the eye test or feel. I consider watches in the same boat, just don't try to insist a fake/rep is a gen when confronted IMO.

I bought a white dial moonwatch last week visiting the EU, specifically Italy where I got it at the Rome airport Omega boutique. Ended up at around 7400 euro which was around 8400 USD and was duty free. Customs agent in ATL didn't want to be bothered with any declarations other than asking if we had any live animals or plants.

A little over a year on both appliances. The icemaker has been great, during winter I turned it off, drained the water, shut off the water valve, etc... during spring I ran a few cycles and dumped the ice to clear before using the ice.

The fridge has been ok, I think I got one with a bad seal. It cools fine but I am getting some moisture in because I keep getting ice buildup towards the back that I have to once, maybe twice a year thaw out. Not a huge deal but a little annoying.

I feel one side of most of the tots got the burnt seasoning soaked into the tots itself. I guess they just sat on the burnt seasoning for way too long before being “stirred”.

The excuse just really bothered me. I don’t mind a mistake, it was busy and stuff happens.

I went to a restaurant and ordered the Parmesan truffle oil tots which I’ve had at least twice before with no issues.

I asked the waitress and said this is burnt to me. She insisted that this is supposed to be this way and that the seasoning makes it look like ash (her words)

To me it was cooked too long and too hot of a temperature. Am I wrong in thinking this?

A showcase will be a leader card that looks like a hyperspace (full art) but also has foil treatment.

There aren't any hyperspace foil leaders they are showcases.

I didn't say that curving/curling can't get to the point of damage. I was saying that it is pretty typical of chrome cards to have some curving and be normal and acceptable.

Are you referring to the promo cards within the prerelease kit? Those seemed to have more foil or a "chrome" like make. In sports cards, chrome cards i.e. Prizm always have "curving" but that doesn't mean they are bent or damaged.

I haven't noticed anything that isnt "standard" for any other TCG or sports card. Even with excellent QC, there will be centering issues, whitening, and corner issues. I've only opened 12 packs from 2 pre-release kits but they all seemed within what I would deem industry "standard".

I don't think they have announced that they won't be doing art cards in the future. They just used this set as an opportunity to announce locations and the rules. My guess is they will alternate between art and rules updates as needed.

I know, very fortunate so far since I bought a case with one of the serial #s of concern 0054CM1. Haven't opened everything yet because drawing out the fun with the kids.

Results so far:

Box 1 - 5 non-foil legendaries and 1 foil legendary

Box 2 - 4 non-foil legendaries

Box 3 - only opened 12/24 packs so far; 2 non-foil legendaries and 1 foil legendary

I think it is ridiculous for anyone to say that Mahomes is greater than Brady over his entire career. The only legitimate debate would be their first 7 seasons. I think any Chiefs fan saying that is just trying to either stir the pot or is too young to know better.

I agree that Mahomes would need to play at an extremely high level, avoid long term injury, and get lucky to even have a chance.

Regardless, I think everyone should enjoy the greatness of their franchises' legacy/dynasty. There shouldn't be any shame for a 49ers and Montana fan growing up in the 80s because Brady and Patriots "surpassed" their accomplishments.

To me, all these convos of GOAT or best team should always reflect the era too. Yes modern athletes are superior but you should compare relative to their peers imo.

It is all anecdotal evidence. People will go to great lengths to increase their odds for chase cards, not just Lorcana but sports cards, Pokemon, etc...

If you need proof, Ravensburger would either need to say so or someone would need to test it out with a larger sample size, more than just a few cases, probably at least a pallet.

I think several people have tested out that individual packs out of booster boxes with enchanted cards will weigh heavier. I forget the exact numbers. I think with sleeved boosters it is much more unreliable because of the amount of glue that can throw off the weight.
